The Office Bar & Grill On Pacific Avenue — Restaurant in Tacoma

Okay - on a regular day I would give the Office 4.5 stars. It’s a chill bar, drinks are great and I like their fries. Today… lol. Today was a little off. Probably about 20 minutes till 6 so I wanna order happy hour food. There was one bartender and one waitress on the floor. When we sat, people started to trickle in. There was a little rush, people getting off work, starting their night off… you know, the usual rush. The bartender, he was busy but I appreciate that he was on his feet and getting our orders and checking in on us while making drinks and tending to everyone else at the bar and on the floor.. the waitress…… now she’s something else. You know when people do things to look busy but their really not doing anything at all…. That was her. First, it took her forever to buss one table, and I don’t even know how long that table was left that way. But she took her time 😂 did she clear the table… kind of, not really. I’m laughing because she was great at making herself look busy but she was doing things here and there. The food…. The food was okay. It was cold and the only thing that came out hot were the wings and mac and cheese balls. I just say all this to say, can y’all give that bartender a raise!!!! He deserves it because he was doing a great job tending to everyone. The waitress, mmmmm maybe she was training? Idk but...

This place is amazing!! The atmosphere, the drinks, the food, the music, and the service WILL NOT disappoint. My cousins and I visited this place recently. It was my 1st time but they have been a few times prior. They raved about the bacon wrapped tator tots...lol And they were delicious! I think they deep fry them together...lol And there's this tangy spicy dipping sauce that comes with it. Omg!! Nom nom nom!!

The service was fast and friendly. Our sever shared that the music we were hearing was his playlist and I was here for it...lol I was rockin and vibin out! You can tell the servers look put for one another because while ours was busy another young lady brought over our side of garlic bread (btw was also delicious!). We spoke to her and and joked with another guy who was adding to the frozen mix behind the bar.

As for the food, we had the beef nachos, the bacon wrapped tater tots, and later a side of garlic bread. I wanted the garlic bread after seeing someone else having it on their Greek salad plate. The nachos was the perfect portion. I already mentioned about them bacon wrapped taters...lol And the garlic bread was light, crisp, and toasted just right.

The libations were also on point and had eye catching garnish to make the experience memorable. If you're able to visit this place, GO! Tell them E Reed...

The food is good but the service is probably the worst around. We’ve come a few times and it doesn’t seem to get much better. The girl who served us drops things off and then immediately speeds away. Some of our party got there before us, after we arrived she dropped off their drinks they asked if we could order- she took the person who asked’s order and then sped away. Nobody at the table was able to order their drinks or their food. After she got everyone at the table food, she didn’t come back for 30 minutes. We were all waiting for a drink refill and she was on the other side of the restaurant talking to a table for 10 minutes and then went outside to vape, she just kept walking past us. A side of ranch took 10 minutes to get. We ended up just deciding we wanted to leave and had to ask another server for our checks. Also, one of the orders was cold, like cold cold. But we couldn’t even ask for it to be fixed because she never came by to ask how we were. All in all it took 2.5 hours to have 2 drinks and dinner. The server is the short blond girl with glasses, quite literally the worst server I’ve ever...
