I just went and purchased the famous Dubai chocolate from Peter Brooke and I was very disappointed. I have tried the Dubai chocolate before with a local vendor and they are absolutely delicious. I have not been in contact with that vendor in a while and was craving the famous Dubai chocolate decided to come here was very surprised to see them for $35 but I thought the taste is worth the price when I took a bite. First thing I noticed it had a very nutty taste did not taste like pistachio at all the color was not right either and on top of them it was mostly chocolate, barely any of the filling. I was very disappointed and very upset because I can’t even return the chocolateand get my $35 back or even half. My husband and I ordered a gift set from Peterbrooke chocolatier for delivery. It was in Tallahassee so we choose to use Doordash,To insure delivery that day. On the online site, it was shown in a silver box. It was delivered in a bag with paper. Still pretty, but we chose the silver box option, the cost was more, to make sure it was sorta wrapped, Contained in something, to look pretty. We got a picture of the item after delivery. It was delivered within 37min. The recipient absolutely Loved the variety of chocolate! Loved the toffee the most. They were very happy. Guess that's all that matters. My love for Peterbrooke began when I lived in Jacksonville as that is their base. Our local Peterbrooke is owned by local residents. Since moving back to Tally I frequent Peterbrooke throughout the school year to get gift baskets for my kids’ teachers. They will hand pick goodies based on the teacher or person’s tastes and fit it into whatever budget you have set up. They offer free gelato on Wednesdays. Their chocolate covered popcorn is such a treat I buy it for my kids and younger siblings for Christmas and special events.
