Today royally ticked me off. After waiting all week to see if they were showing Ghostbusters (2016), I checked the website. Saturday they showed that, indeed, the movies had been updated. They were showing GB. They listed movie times for Sunday (today). I made plans with friends to meet up there this week AND next. Drove over there from St. Petersburg. The place is locked up. Even though EVERYTHING updated and shows movie times (my friends also verified this) they are closed. As we stood there, at least 10 other people came up and went through the same shock. As I drove away, I watched people coming up to try the doors. I am beyond furious. There are signs posted for other events this week through August. They updated the marquee to show the current movies (which, since GB just opened on Friday, was a recent update). Don't bother to call the phone number because it does not work. It hasn't worked for the past two weeks. It ways that the voice mail is not set up for the recipient. No one answers, anyway. I went to a neighboring business who said that "the idea was for them to keep the doors open as much as possible" while they were undergoing renovations. I explained the situation. He suggested I call first next time. I told him that the number did not work. The man was kind enough to offer me his card so I can call there next time to see if they are open. This has TOTALLY ruined the day. Not only did I work my schedule out to meet friends there and then had to cancel plans after the commute, but I was really looking forward to seeing the movie. I would be spitting...
Read moreBritton plaza is a south Tampa icon its been here for a long time. Burlington coat factory, Plato's closet, dollar tree, Tuesday morning, Chinese buffet, movie theater, publix, leather repair shop, biglots Marshalls, Michael's, Dunkin donuts, and pet supermarket as well as taco bell and other cell phone store as well as bealls outlet convenience close by a variety with just about any thing you want as well as Stein mart. Every place I have been in staff has been helpful and service is great. The missing piece here nice used furniture but way over priced and the lady that runs it makes you feel like you are disturbing her or not worthy of entering the store. Sad to see that Triage closed it was one of my personal favorites for consignment shops and the merchandise was awesome and loved the unique and tasteful items they had. Use to look for paperweights when they would get new ones in Brooke would call me to let them know, talk about making customers happy. Too bad it closed was my favorite...
Read moreI love coming here because of the wide variety of shops. I went to Burlington and scored some cute tops and socks. I went to Bealls and found an adorable purse and a great pair of Tommy Hilfiger shoes for an awesome price. I popped in Platos Closet for a bit and although I didnt find anything this time that interested me..this always worth checking out because of the constantly changing inventory. Platos Closet is a bagless store...so keep that in mind while shopping or you may end up making multiple trips to the parking lot with your purchases. Then I went to Marshall's and found all kinds of deals and bargains. Marshalls is great for everything like high end perfumes, popular jewelry from Lucky Brand, shoes, and beauty products. Its rare to walk away from here without something youll want. It was a fun place to shop and you can wrap it all up by stopping in the Publix and picking up dinner and a nice bottle of wine ...
