The atmosphere is simply magical, with dim lighting casting shadows on vintage furniture, creating an ambiance that's both eerie and inviting.

The decorations are nothing short of spectacular, with every corner adorned with intricate details that evoke a sense of nostalgia for a bygone era. From old photographs to curious trinkets, each piece adds to the allure of the lounge, inviting guests to explore and discover hidden treasures.

i have been coming to the spookeasy since 2019 so i’m not sure why it has taken my so long to write this review!!! when i first started going, i was a freshman in college and my new group of friends and i just so happened to stumble on this tiny little speakeasy behind a bookshelf above the stone soup company. it was small, but had a very consistent client base. we would come here nearly every day after class, making new friends, chatting up the kavatenders, and drinking coffee and different botanical tea flavors. in 2022 i moved to gainesville for two years - so sad!! they had NOTHING like the spookeasy here and i was definitely missing it. honestly, you won’t really find anything like the spookeasy anywhere. when i came back to tampa about 3 months ago, i was so happy to find out that they have moved locations down a few streets and expanded! the spookeasy now has it’s own building with a bar downstairs. my friends and i started coming at least once a week/every other week for the awesome trivia and karaoke nights. this place never fails to give me great new memories and a fun and safe place to hang out with my friends. the drinks and the spooky vibes are great, but the people are what keep me coming back. everyone is so personable and friendly and there truly is such a sense of community. nothing or nobody are every too weird for this place. i want to give a special shout-out to tiffany for being such an awesome bartender every time my friends and i come in. she is sweet, funny, and gives us all such a comfortable feeling. if you need a new place to explore in ybor, definitely check the...

A Hidden Gem for Goth Enthusiasts - During my recent visit to Tampa for work, I stumbled upon this hidden gem! The very name piqued my interest, and upon entering, I discovered a haven for all things goth and mysterious.

The attention to detail in the decor is nothing short of impressive. From the moment you step inside, you are enveloped in an immersive experience that brings the dark and mysterious to life. The place boasts two levels, each with its own unique charm.

Upstairs, in an alcohol-free zone, where they were hosting a vampire film. The atmosphere was relaxed, providing a perfect setting for those looking to unwind without the influence of spirits. It was a refreshing take on a lounge, creating a space for patrons to enjoy without the typical buzz of alcohol.

Venturing downstairs, I discovered a quiet, dark dungeon of a bar. The subdued lighting and carefully chosen music created an atmosphere that was both intriguing and inviting. What stood out was the ability to have meaningful conversations without the usual struggle against blaring music – a rarity in most bars.

SpookEasy Lounge is undoubtedly one of the best places I've ever had a drink at. It caters to the tastes of those who appreciate the darker side of life and all things goth. Whether you're a seasoned goth enthusiast or simply looking for a unique and unforgettable experience, this establishment is a must-visit. Kudos to the SpookEasy Lounge for creating an atmosphere that stands out in the bustling scene of Tampa's nightlife. Wish you...

I've been to the lounge a couple times before and had always ordered a red blood bag. I saw it in the fridge the first time and asked about it and they had no problem selling it to me. I was under the impression it was kava and that you can order kava if you're 18+ which I was at the time. Apparently that was not the case, and I just turned 21 this year now learning it a 21+ drink. This is how I found out: I went with a group of friends and was excitedly telling them about it and one ordered what I was having. We sat down and started chatting and sipping on our drinks then a different tender came over and snatched the drink away from my friend saying she can't have it she's not 21. My friend was immediately apologetic she didn't know she was just ordering what I had and asked if she could get a refund, they denied her. I chimed in later and asked could she at least get a drink similar to make up for it, and they said no again explaining it would be a business loss. They also mentioned she had illegally bought it and she should've known since it's listed on their online drink menu, and she should be kicked out but they're not going to when in reality they illegally sold it to her. To make matters worse, we had just came from the castle where they smeared sharpie all over the back of her hands which was very noticeable, even the entrance guy made a joke about it.

Awesome place…Located in the heart of Tampa, the Spooky Easy Lounge is a delightful hideaway for those who revel in all things eerie and mysterious. As soon as you step inside, you’re greeted by an ambiance that perfectly balances spooky charm with cozy comfort. The decor is a standout feature, with dim lighting, vintage horror movie posters adorning the walls, and an assortment of quirky decorations that add to the eerie atmosphere without being overbearing. The lounge offers a variety of seating options, from intimate booths to communal tables, making it ideal for both solo visits and gatherings with friends. The drink menu at Spooky Easy Lounge is a treat in itself, featuring creatively named cocktails that pay homage to classic horror themes. Whether you’re sipping on a “Witch’s Brew” or enjoying a “Vampire’s Kiss,” each drink is expertly crafted and adds to the overall experience. The service is friendly and knowledgeable, with staff members who are passionate about the theme of the lounge and eager to recommend drinks based on your preferences. Overall, Spooky Easy Lounge is a gem for anyone looking to unwind in a uniquely themed environment. Whether you’re a die-hard horror fan or simply curious about the spooky side of life, this lounge promises a memorable and enjoyable visit. Highly recommended for a chillingly good time!

A year ago my stepdaughter was in town and wanted to go here so my husband and I brought her. I loved it's crazy and cool spooky vibe and decor! I didn't however go out of my comfort zone to try anything new (aka the stuff that they're known for and good at!) and simply had a glass if wine which is available from the restaurant below and my husband had a beer while our daughter had the kratom tea. Well, visiting a year later she brought a friend along and wanted to show it to her so we went again. This time, after hearing so much about Kratom and it's benefits I decided to give it a go. As with the previous visit, they were so knowledgable and helpful! After learning about the different types of Kratom I settled on the mildest (baby steps) which is the "Frankenstein Monster" with flavors of coconut and pineapple added. It was pretty good! As instructed I drank it slowly and stirred it often. About 20 minutes later I could feel "something". I would say it was simply a very nice relaxed feeling without being sleepy or "off" in any way. They sell growlers of it which they said could last almost a week refrigerated. If this place were closer to home, I would have purchased one! I'm looking forward to a return visit and I'm hoping to learn even more. Dear Spookeasy, please expand to Largo!
