A&S Comics — Attraction in Teaneck Township

A&S Comics is a solid 5-star NJ Comic shop! Worth a trip or visit if you are on an NJ comic crawl or in the area. This is a classic old school shop and the sheer content this place has is amazing.

First, an amazing indexed selection of bagged and boarded comics that are housed in rugged wood drawers! No flimsy cardboard holding this collection. I found a bunch of comics I couldn't find elsewhere and it was amazingly organized. Reasonably priced as well.

Additionally, there were bargain bin trade paperbacks, toys, magazines and other treasures to be found in this excellent store. The owner was pleasant and helped me find what I was looking for.

A&S is content heavy, so there are boxes of product all over the place and on top of things. Organized where it counts (back issues), this is a good kind of chaos in my opinion and it allows one to search and find books you may not have known existed.

Shout out to Alex and his dad who made my first comic by experience one to remember. I walked in the store and both of them greeted me. I’ve been responded with I have never bought a comic in my life and I’m here to buy all of your gay comics. True story. I had a list of comics that I wanted, which I knew were in stock because the website was very efficient. Alex rose to the occasion and got on his knees to find every comic on the list. His father even chimed in and recommend it a comic was featured the first gay superhero. I am so happy and grateful for their assistance which allowed me to find LGBTQ representation in the fictional comic book world. This comic book store was awesome to go see. I went here looking for comic books to use as props for some photography photos. The people in the store were nice and answered all my questions that I had. They lots of figures on one side of the store and on the other side it is full of comics. Each side has large displays of different superheroes and villains.
