Disappointing Service and Errors Ruined a Takeout Order I am a long-time fan of Las Marias which is normally excellent—clean, authentic, and prompt. However, my recent takeout experience was a total breakdown of service from start to finish. The phone order was difficult to place, with an employee sounding "off-put" and failing to take my name. Pickup was worse. The drinks weren't ready, forcing me to walk across the restaurant, and one cup was only partially filled. Most frustratingly, the staff completely lacked attention: the chip portion was meager, and they forgot the essential salsa. I had to walk back inside after leaving the counter just to get the missing item. This was easily the worst service experience we've had here. Missing items, an indifferent attitude, and neglect at every turn ruins the entire meal, no matter how good the food is. We hope this was an isolated incident, but until we see their usual standards return, we won't be ordering again. Rating: 2...

Las Tres Marías - A Hidden Gem of Authentic Mexican Flavors

Las Tres Marías left me speechless. This upscale, modern Mexican restaurant shatters stereotypes while preserving the genuine, rich flavors of Mexico. Our server, who was a member of the owners’ family, was exceptional and made us feel right at home.

I ordered the Mole, and my wife chose the Huevos Motuleños. The mole took me straight back to Guanajuato, evoking a flood of memories. When I asked who made it, our server proudly shared that it was her mother’s recipe. The complexity of flavors in this dish is hard to put into words; it’s slightly spicy but utterly delicious—a true taste of home.

This place is a hidden gem in downtown Temple. If you’re craving authentic Mexican cuisine and want to avoid the typical Tex-Mex imitators found across Texas, Las Tres Marías is an...

Amazing!! We have been searching high and low for authentic Mexican food in Temple area and finally found it. Everything we tasted met our expectations. My husband had the mole enchiladas; tasty and spicy. I had the chicken fajitas which were seasoned perfectly, served on a cast iron platter, along with all the fixings. Their corn tortillas are to die for! Do try them! Because we love tortilla soup, we decided to try it as well. Did not disappoint! The exact ingredients that we expected in a good tortilla soup. This will be our favorite restaurant in Temple for sure. They don't have their liquor license yet, as they are dependent on the city permit office for that one. But it will be coming soon I'm sure. Many, many compliments to the kitchen and...

We’re visiting from Houston, where we’re pretty spoiled when it comes to Mexican food — and this spot in Temple held up surprisingly well! 🍸 Perla had the Mexi-Martini and thought it was delicious. I had the Pineapple Margarita — tasty, generously sized, but not too strong. 🍽️ The mole enchiladas were good — maybe not the best I’ve ever had, but definitely enjoyable. What really stood out was how fast the food came out. 🧑‍🍳 Service was great — very attentive throughout. I didn’t catch our waitress’s name, but she was excellent. All in all, a solid stop if you’re in Temple and craving some Mexican food. (Dictated my thoughts and had my AI chatbot turn it into a review 🙃)

** TACO SCALE ⚖️ ** When we found out , that a new Mexican restaurant was opening in Temple, we were just kinda " ehhh " but, finding out who was opening it, we went from "ehh " to " ooooooh really 😀 " and we knew we had to try it. Soo here's our review. Soo the Queso was a little runny, big bowl and not enough chips. But, don't get me wrong the taste was great, beans had good flavor and also the rice. TACOS, were good, and tasty, the price was very reasonable. And flautas were very good. TACO SCALE of 4 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 .. I will definitely be back for some tacos.
