One of my favorite coffee shops in Temple; drinks were always cheap and tasted great. Vibes were solid, food nearby, easy parking right out front, plenty of room with outlets. Perfect for studying or meeting with others.

Had a coffee and a pastry, which is made in house. A strawberry Danish that was light and delicious. The staff is friendly and professional. Nice building.

Edited after today's visit: I tried again with hopes that it had improved. The expresso tastes like burnt instant coffee - my parents drank instant coffee and I would pull pranks on unsuspecting friends (who enjoyed pranks) by having them drink the stuff no one ever said "oh that tasted great!" The attitude of the batista left a lot to be desired as well. I am giving up.

Previous review: Let me start of by saying we have been here before and it was good enough to come again but this time it was not the best experience. I will try one more time but if it is always up and down I will not waste more time on them.

The batista was nice but I don't think they are fully trained. So here is the breakdown of our experience.. My cortado had a heavy froth instead of just steamed milk and the temp of it was way too high. There is no simple syrup! Considering that they make their own syrup this seems very strange.

My friends Americano "tasted like burnt water" and was in a very tiny cup. The price of this Americano is double what we would pay at other shops when the size is factored in.

The latte took 30 minutes to be cool enough to even try. Yes... coffee should be hot but not scalding.

We are actually tossing these and getting something more...

Me, looking at a bag of retail coffee roasted two months ago: “I’m surprised y’all are selling coffee roasted in August…”

Barista, uncaringly: “Coffee is good for 6 months.”

On the one hand, I’m glad you are transparent on roast dates, even when they’re older than expected. On the other hand, you have “Roasters” in your business name and I would expect fresh offerings. $18 for 12oz of 2 month old coffee? Why do that when I can get Starbucks for $15/lb?

It might do for now, but here’s hoping some real competition opens up in Temple some day soon. Perhaps in the meantime I’ll go with mail order coffee that will be more fresh for my purposes.

Edit: took the bag home and discovered it wasn’t entirely sealed across the top. This is the second time this has happened to me with coffee at this store....

Kaytlin is the best barista ever! She made us the best drinks. They were perfect! Exactly the way we like them. Other places don't get the drinks perfect like she does! She is by far the best barista ever! I sure hope she gets a raise. The atmosphere here is wonderful. My friend recommended it here and I was hesitant to come, but I will definitely be back regularly now that I experienced it firsthand! Hands down one of my favorite places in Texas. I am a globally published author and have traveled the country and this place definitely is a favorite now. Very impressed to say the least. Blows away the Austin places by far, and blows away most of the places across the country. Thank you so much! I very highly...
