Airplane Gas Station — Attraction in Tennessee

My sons and I stopped by to get a haircut at this unique barbershop. As we walked up, I fixed the American flag that was stuck to the flagpole as it flew in the rain (by the way, the flag should not be flying in the rain without cover). We walked up to the entrance and started to go inside when we were stopped at the door by one of the barbers. He said, “You have to have an appointment.” I apologized, and he responded rather rudely with, “We’ve got things going on in here!” He then shut the door in our faces and went back inside. At no time did I see any signage advertising “appointment only”, nor did I see a reason for the barber to be so rude to a few folks who wanted to get a haircut in a cool little barbershop. Repeat customer of John from a random walk in. He's a great guy and a great barber. He may come off crass to some people on first impression because he's a bit old fashioned, but after a couple cuts he loosened up, can remember your cut preferences and is actually quite funny and fun to be around while you're stuck in a chair.
