I HAVE BEEN GOING TO CHICAGO COMPUTER CLUB SINCE IT OPENED ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO. FROM THE VERY FIRST VISIT I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE EXPERTISE OF SHOP MANAGER GEORGE. HE NOT ONLY FIXED MY COMPUTER BUT SPENT EXTRA TIME TUTORING ME ON THINGS THAT I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT MY COMPUTER. NO MATTER HOW SLOW I WAS GEORGE DISPLAYED A LOT OF PATIENCE TEACHING ME SOME IMPORTANT THINGS EVERY COMPUTER OWNER SHOULD KNOW. THRU THE YEARS GEORGE HAS HELPED ME PURCHASE 2 RECONDITIONED DESKTOP COMPUTERS. HE WAS ABLE TO SAVE AD TRANSFER INFO FROM THE OLD COMPUTER TO THE NEW ONE. HE DID THIS AT A REASONABLE PRICE. PRESENTLY I AM PURCHASING A NEW DELL LAPTOP FROM CHICAGO COMPUTER WHICH GEORGE IS SETTING UP FOR ME. HE IS GOING THRU THE WINDOWS 10 SYSTEM WITH ME AGAIN SO I DON'T HAVE ISSUES.
I GUESS I CAN SUM UP GEORGE 'S PERFORMANCE AS MANAGER OF THIS LOCATION AS ONE OF ABOVE EXPERTISE AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE COMPUTER, GREAT PATIENCE WHEN DEALING WITH CUSTOMERS, AND VERY COURTEOUS AND UNDERSTANDING. HE IS ALWAYS WILLING TO GO THE EXTRA MILE. FORGET BEST BUY AND THEIR GEEK SQUAD BECAUSE WHEN IT COMES TO COMPUTER SAVVY AND KNOW HOW GEORGE AT THE CHICAGO COMPUTER CLUB IS THE MAN TO SEE. HE WILL NOT DISAPPOINT. IN MY BOOK HE IS THE BEST.

   Read moreLast month on a Saturday, my friend was doing a college assignment on her laptop which was due on that coming Monday and was invaded by some type of attack which prevented her from seeing the details on her screen. Of course, she freaked out and started getting on my nerves. She wanted to take it to Best Buy who I'd informed her will not do work on her laptop on the premises and ships out those assignments. I suggested that she call the Chicago Computer Club in South Holland and see if they could assist. She called and spoke to George, who told her to bring the laptop to the store immediately because it was in the afternoon. George explained the options and procedure thoroughly, which was summarized as cleaning out all the data, but making sure that anything of importance was backed up on a disc. I prepaid for "express" service and within a few hours, the laptop was ready. George stayed open past the normal closing time because he'd run into a slight glitch towards the end and all is well. My friend had her computer returned the day of the problem which could not have happened anywhere else that I know and she was able to complete her assignment the following day. George is very professional and knows the business!...
