Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Thornton Township

Undercooked pizza. I ordered a medium pizza online from here on Saturday evening, it said it would be ready in 10-20 mins. I remember thinking "wow, that's quick". Well, I go to pick up my pizza about 15mins after, and it is ready, I get home and it doesn't taste right, even my 3 year old didn't like it. I take off the topping and there's dough underneath, the crust isn't cooked/baked.

I call the store, am put on hold for about 10 mins before the manager comes in. He says " All our pizzas go in the oven for the same amount of time and we haven't had any complaints today" Me:well I'm staring at uncooked dough here. Him: I can't do anything unless you bring the pizza back to the store

I take the pizza do the store (with my 3 year old and 2 month old). I show him the dough. Manager: That's how pizza should be. Me: I've had pizza before, and this is not how it should be. Manager: Well, you're not supposed to look under the toppings. Me: your pizza didn't taste right is why I took it off in the first place. Him: Where's your receipt, I can make you another pizza. Me: No, I just want my money back Him: I can't do that. It's company policy, no refunds. I can only make you another pizza. Or I can give you the number for our coperate office. Me: So you'll give me another undercooked pizza, since you say all your pizzas are like this? No thank you. You can toss this if you want.

Worst experience in all time history from ever ordering from a Pizza Hut.02/01/25 place an order for pickup around 11:30pm the guy instantly ask me was I GrubHub I answered no told him my order check out an got home to an old stale recooked pizza and some warm up boneless wings I’ve never been so upset with an order in my life. I called to explain the problem with my order I was transferred to the store where someone answered the phone and hung up. I return to the store to a girl name Alexis who seemed to be frustrated claiming to be the manager. I open the box to explain to her there was no way she could be the manager if she would let an order walk out the door that was trash. Very unacceptable and a waste of time and gas I explained to her gas prices are too expensive to be making double trips because the workers didn’t care to send quality food out. I went on to ask her what could she offer me for the inconvenience she rolled her eyes and carelessly told me nothing I’m processing your refund quickly. What a sad excuse for a manager so unprofessional no experience what so ever in presentation or quality food. No experience in customer service or customer satisfaction. This pizza hut normally decent but today they was HORRIBLE. Not only was they rude and Unattentive but did not take ownership of the situation. We order online and was given a 12:30 eta and 1pm the pizza not here. Naturally we called for an eta and accommodation and the rep Melanie said it was nothing she could do and the eta on the website was wrong. We asked to speak to management for more help and she told us management would not be there until 6pm. Then they refuse to accommodation us, so I asked who fault and she said it was our fault! Shocked I demanded to speak with area coach and she didnt give it to us. Then Frenchette gets on the phone and said the error is not their fault its pizza corp fault. Excuse me arent you a product of corp? Then she tell us we should have called in.. If we have to call in whats the point of ordering online? Frenchette said she was the store manager which means Melanie lied about management being present. This store had horrible customer service today. Then we had to call Homewood who was extremely nice and even offered a free pizza after we told them what happen gave us the coaching area rep Cindi number, We turned it down because we went to Beggars instead.
