The food here is absolutely delicious. The chicken rice soup is amazing, and their sandwiches are always amazing. I will say, though, the last two times I have ordered my sandwich on rye bread through the drive-thru, I have driven away to Jewel to eat in the parking lot only to find they did not give me rye bread like I ordered but gave me a thick white bread roll of some sort. So, the last two times I have been inconvenienced and had to go back to the restaurant (having to deal with horrible traffic again) so they could fix it. The second time was recently. The first time was maybe a year and a half ago. My advice to anyone is if you order a sandwich on rye or get any other specialty order, make sure you check it before you leave the drive-thru window so if it's wrong, you won't be convenienced and having to drive back and go in.

I want to mention also that before I order my sandwich on rye, I ask them first if they have rye and they say yes. So they verify that they have it and then they still don't give it to me.

I think if they inconvenience you like this, they should give you some sort of freebie when you go in. Fact: we shouldn't have to go back to the restaurant and go in due to them messing up. It really is a pain in...

I Always order their sub sandwiches and they are always made ok! Today I decided to look at the takeout menu only to realize the prices on the takeout menu were less than prices in store. Well I had already paid and when I spoke with the young lady who had only been employed there two weeks she immediately advised the manager. Here we go the manager looked at the menu seen the price difference said “I’ll be right back “ the young lady asked if there is anything she could do and I let her know it’s not her mistake and ask the manager to come back because she went and started taking orders in the drivethru! When she did return that’s only because I asked the young lady to call her back over for a resolution. Bottom line the MANAGER NEVER APOLOGIZED FOR WALKING AWAY, NOR OFFERED ANY KIND OF DIFFERENCE IN PRICE! VERY NASTY ATTITUDE ALSO SHE HAS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE TERRIBLE! I ASKED FOR THE MENU BACK SHE DECLINED BUT EVENTUALLY GAVE IT BACK BUT STATED SHE DID NOT WANT TO GIVE THE MENU BACK SO THERE WILL BE NO COMPLAINT!!! Looked like an interesting place to eat, so we stopped and ordered lunch. Husband ordered #2 special: corned beef on rye with chips and drink. I just ordered the smoked ham on a croissant. Didn't realize I had to pay 60¢ more for the croissant. But I didn't want a lot of bread. We didn't have to wait long for our individually prepared sandwiches.

Our order was for 2 basic sandwiches and they tasted good. Bread was fresh and they were just big enough to satisfy us without being too much. Shared chips with husband who got the combo. I was too cheap to pay $4 more for a drink and a bag of chips. We dined by the window, and noticed that everything was clean and bright. I liked the rubber tree in the center of the dining area. Big! I also liked the Tiffany style lamps above us.

The menu is big, but not overwhelming. The ice cream in the front looked good, but we were too full for dessert. Husband got a drink refill, and I got ice in my water mug. Ladies behind the counter were friendly and efficient. They also took care of a drive thru in addition to patrons inside.

The men's room was nothing special, but I liked the switch plate in the ladies' room. Both places were clean...
