This was by far the worst air port parking experience I have ever had. I am a frequent flyer and used park&jet for the first time with their groupon deal. As advised I printing out all the required documents groupon suggested, which included my flight reservation, confirmation number from groupon, reservation number, and the complete receipt of the purchase. When I arrived back at the airport it took 30 min. for a shuttle to come, while I watched other shuttle services come and go at least three different times. Once I arrived back at Park & Jet and got to the check out window, this is where I was told that the four pages of confirmation info from groupon was not acceptable. They wanted me to pay additional fees after I had already purchased a $50.00 groupon. Now if you have used Park&Jet before you will notice that they promote groupon due to their joint relationship that they have. Wouldn't you think that when you have a joint relationship with another company you would be able to contact and give them the four pages of confirmation information that groupon provided so that they could confirm the purchase since Park&Jet was having such a "difficult time" retrieving the information. Now I refused to pay them additional fees and ask for a manager. While the ladies in the booth scrambled around because they had no clue what they were doing , they had a line building up behind me. I suggested that they have me pull over so they could help the other customers. The said no and treated me like a prisoner. At this point the manager had to call me on the phone because she was "out" of the office. After our conversation she had the ladies allow us to go after we argued for 45 min. The manager than called me later. At this point I had called and spoke to a groupon customer service representative where they provided me with another code. I called and left a message with that code on the managers phone and I have not herd a word since. Instead of causing all the agony after a red eye flight, you would think the Park&Jet would of figured things out that they needed from groupon directly since they have such a great business relationship! When I told this story to a family member they experienced the same problem and it took 4 weeks for Park&Jet to reimburse them the extra...
Read moreWORST AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICE EVER! EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE! PRICE IS NOT $9/day as advertised.
Upon my arrival one Monday night, I kept calling/waiting/calling/waiting and no one ever picked up the phone to pick me up at the terminal or even directed me where to wait. After walking up and down the concourse, I finally saw one of their shuttles, and I was able to hop on after ONE HOUR of calling/waiting/walking. Luckily I did because the next stop had 8 people apparently waiting TWO HOURS and they had to wait for another empty shuttle to pick them up (I hope they did, although reviews here say that isn't a given).
Conversations over dispatch seemed like a mess with a number of people complaining, including one person who I think said "I'm gonna quit".
Their parking lot is a non-descript maze and the card the person originally gave me with my car location for my departure wasn't clear, unlike other lots that provide a spot #. Since it was dark and the shuttle has tinted windows, its very hard to even find your car, so we drove around and around till we found the car.
When I walked out, the driver parked in a HUGE puddle soaking my shoes. The pavement is complete garbage and of course would flood/puddle in spots.
After waiting for awhile in line at checkout, I make a point of asking why dispatch isn't picking up the phone and the woman was completely unapologetic saying "she has six lines and was checking out cars too and what do I expect her to do?" (I dunno, how about her job, call for more backup, treat customers properly and process them in a first-come-first-serve fashion).
Then I get the bill, and I was shocked...their website says $9/day, but that seemed to only apply if you made a reservation online, where as my bill was $85 for 5 days, so basically double what I was expecting. No other signage or price lists elsewhere.
Their customer service line is the same # as dispatch and when I try to talk to hit the option for refunds/credits, the voicemail system directs you to press 6, but when you press 6, the VM system doesn't recognize the function.
I made the mistake of going here when I was in a rush, don't make the same mistake. Spend a few minutes Googling other vendors, even if they are a...
Read moreThis PHL parking facility often offers major discounts for parking on sites such as living social, amazon local, groupon, etc. However, I have found that the savings in cost is NOT worth it for this operator. I have parked there several times with coupons and given up based on their ridiculous return service. Drop-off is generally not a problem. However, the process can sometimes be time consuming if there is a full van of passengers being picked up at the lot as the driver must get out of the van at each stop to load the luggage into the back of the van. This is not a big deal - Park & Jet's major issue is getting picked up from the airport and returned to the lot. They just can't seem to get it together and run enough shuttles. We just returned home from a two week trip with the first pick-up from Terminal A (international). The first shuttle that arrived took so long that there was immediately a full van and we did not get on. The second shuttle driver that arrived told us and others that there was no room because she was picking up 6 other passengers at another terminal. We insisted that we board the shuttle and the driver did reluctantly let us on. Several others did not board, and many in other terminals were unable to board. On our previous trip, we were able to get the first shuttle back (also from terminal A), but those from other terminals were continually left behind and screaming at the driver that several vans had passed them. Check-out from the lot is also EXTREMELY slow. Basically, you get what you pay for. This is the Walmart of PHL parking lots - pay a bit more at Preflight, Wallypark, etc. and save yourself...
