When I went into the Boot Hill gift shop last weekend I was sorely disappointed. In recent times that I have been to the gift shop all the counters and display cases were full t-shirts had the variety of sizes candy was Stockton. Had two different kinds of pickles a range of different licorice . They always had a good selection of shot glasses and posters when I walked in there this time the t-shirts did not have any of the larger sizes therefore I couldn't find one for my husband. The pickles they had only one jar of pickles that look like it's been there for a while I asked if they had any in the back because they usually Carry two different kinds they said no they were out and would not be getting any more . There was not very many or a good selection of the shot glasses either. I am wondering if the gift shop is Under New Management. I have never seen it so bad in the last year. I was also disappointed in the jewelry they used to have a selection now it's down to a few pieces and nothing I would buy. Also what happened to all the posters no selection they're almost out none in the back they said. What is going on? The staff was very friendly though as they...
Read moreMy husband and I were staying in Tombstone and decided to go to Boothill before we drove back to Gilbert where we were staying with our cousins. I lost my sweater near one of the tombstones. It belonged to my mother who has passed and it was a sentimental . I was so upset because we had to back at Gilbert at 6PM and it was going on 3:30. I left my info to the sweet blonde haired girl at the reception area and she called me back to tell me she had found it. I was willing to pay postage as I know it is hard to upkeep a historic site. I received my sweater today and the cemetery paid my postage. Thank you so much. I loved the cemetery and Tombstone and we will definitely be coming back. God bless your staff at Boothill Cemetery. They...
Read moreBoothill cemetery is a must visit bucket list place! There are rows of tombstones and the background behind the cemetery is breathtakingly beautiful!! Some well known people such as Fred White, Billy Clanton, and Tom Mclaury are buried here. There's a few tombstones you can barely read. I thought it was interesting on some of the tombstones it mentions how they died "playing cards" or who shot them and the name of their murderer was written on their tombstone which was very interesting. It made me sad to see how little they thought of the Chinese and the words they used on those tombstones. I did in fact paid my respects to the towns people who lived here before us. A recommended...
