If it wasn’t great we wouldn’t have eaten here back-to-back days! This place is MY FAVORITE STEAKHOUSE I HAVE BEEN TO. In previous reviews, I stated that the The Big Steer in Altoona, IA was the best. I stand corrected. This place is amazing. The prices seem a little high but the amount of food you get is second to none. They don’t have a kids menu but they have kids approved food so if you have little ones, you can split the meals and save some $$$. On night one I had the Prime Rib Dinner. Fantastic. Came with a giant baked potato (loaded with butter and sour cream which were practically scooped with an ice cream scooper) and the best garlic and butter cauliflower. Prime Rib came with either creamed or regular horseradish. Amazing. Can’t get any better, or can you? The next night we came in because their menu is huge and you could eat a completely different meal. Because it’s Arizona, they had a full Mexican menu that my wife got the second night. My second night dinner was steak. I was torn between steak and prime rib on day 1 so coming back the second day really helped out a lot. What’s great about this place is that you can choose your OZ for your cuts of meat. My daughter wanted steak but I didn’t want to pay for a steak dinner for a 5 year old. So...I just added 4 oz. to my steak dinner and gave her the extra steak! They have an amazing prickly pear margarita! You know this place is good because I didn’t even take any pics of my food. I devoured it both times and each time I hit myself for not taking pics! Go there yourself and enjoy! It’s also right smack dab in the middle of Allen St. in the heart of Tombstone.

While visiting Tombstone I asked someone at a clothing store if there was any good Mexican food in town. They recommended the chimichanga at the Longhorn, so that's where we went. I read the description of it on the menu and it sounded good, but I asked if I could have it without beef, since I'm a vegetarian. I assumed it was made to order and therefore wouldn't be a problem, but I was wrong. The kitchen could not accommodate me. I got cheese enchiladas instead, which were pretty good, but I was bummed about the chimichanga. My mom ordered the fish tacos, but the tortillas were so hard that she couldn't bite through them. She ended up eating the insides of the tacos but wasn't that full after dinner due to the tortillas being inedible. We told our server about this but she did nothing. I should be giving them two stars but the ambiance and decor were good and I always round up for small businesses. I probably wouldn't return though, should I find myself in Tombstone again.

Sorry for not writing this review sooner. This review is for November of 2021. While traveling out West, we stopped in Tombstone for 4 days. The Longhorn Restaurant became our home away from home, as far as eating our daily breakfast and dinner meals. The food is expensive, but you get what you pay for! I don't mind paying a lot of money if the food is good. Here, the food is better than good, it's outstanding! You are not going to leave here hungry. The portions are huge! The restaurant is really clean, and the bathrooms were always clean! The servers are what makes this restaurant a great place! After you've eaten here once, you feel like you're part of the family. I love that! We had breakfast here 4 days in a row, and dinner 3 nights in a row! We are looking forward to our next trip to Tombstone, Summer of 2023 and look forward to dining with y'all again!

As a patron of this establishment, I must say that my recent dining experience left me feeling incredibly upset and dissatisfied. My party and I arrived at the restaurant during off-peak hours, and the place was mostly empty. Despite this, we waited an excruciatingly long time for our food to arrive.

The wait for our food was absolutely unacceptable. We waited for over an hour before we were finally served our meals. Throughout the duration of our wait, we saw other tables who had arrived after us receive their food before we did. It was incredibly frustrating to see other patrons being served while we sat there with empty stomachs.

The worst part about this long wait was the lack of communication from the staff. No one came to update us on the status of our food or offer any apologies for the delay. It was as if our table had been forgotten entirely. This lack of communication made our wait even more frustrating and seemed incredibly unprofessional.

To add insult to injury, when our food finally did arrive, it was unappetizing. It was clear that our dishes had been sitting for quite some time before being brought to our table. This only added to our disappointment and left a bad taste in our mouths, both literally and figuratively.

The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was also lacking. Despite the fact that there were very few patrons in the restaurant, the ambiance was dull and uninspiring. We were hoping for a cozy and inviting atmosphere, but instead, we were met with an almost eerie emptiness that only added to our dissatisfaction.

As someone who has dined at many restaurants before, I can say that the level of service we received was completely unacceptable. It is one thing to experience long wait times during busy hours, but it is entirely different to wait over an hour when the restaurant is nearly empty. It is clear that the staff was not equipped to handle the number of patrons they had, which is a significant problem for any establishment.

In conclusion, my experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. The long wait time, lack of communication, cold food, and lackluster atmosphere all contributed to an unsatisfactory experience. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone, and I certainly will not...

Worst prime rib I have ever tried to eat.

This means a lot, because I have eaten a lot of prime rib in my life. I ordered it medium rare. It came out lifeless and crustless (no seasoning around the edge). It was right before taking my first bite that I noticed it was cold. Not just "sat too long" cold, but "recently pulled out of the fridge" cold. I notified my waiter and he took it back with apologies. It came back very quickly, and very hot. Yup, you guessed it, they tossed it in the microwave! I took my first bite and it tasted like "Microwaved Unseasoned Meat", which is what it was..... so, fair. One bite was too much and I did not eat the rest, just put my napkin over it and let it die. When my Waiter asked how everything was, I notified him that it was not good, but don't worry about it (we were having a good day and not looking for a fight). Sides: Cole Slaw - Meh, but cole slaw is hit or miss anywhere, Beans - ok, Loaded baked potato - ok, Side Salad - ok

My wife got the bbq sauce burger and said it tasted like a frozen patty. She only got a couple bites in before giving up.

Potato Skins app - decent, if a little big and potato heavy.

Bonus: The sour cream for both the potato skins and the baked potato came out in packets, like, big ketchup packets. This may have been the first indicator to turn tail and run away.

They gave me a 10% military discount for the troubles. They did not take the prime rib off the bill (despite it clearly being uneaten). I did tell them not to worry about it (I didn't want to order something else). We will just call this a $35 lesson to not order prime rib at a (fun, had a good time other than this) tourist trap in the middle of nowhere.

Service was fine for the most part.

9/1 - Labor Day -...
