Read moreJust checked in here and I'm very surprised to see the owner responds to reviews, that is a good thing. I will share that my wife and I visited this saloon in Sep 2021 and was very disappointed. Music was WAY too loud (I am not exaggerating when I say we could not here voices), and bartender only cared about a couple of his friends that were down at his end of the bar where he pretty much stayed. Hardly any customers were there when we were there, and it was clear to us nobody wanted to do their job. Was an easy conclusion as to why the place was empty. Too bad, all it took was for the employees to act the way they did to ruin what otherwise would have been a fun evening eating and drinking at Doc Holliday's Saloon.
Edit/Update, after the lame owner comments below: Owner, I never said we had food, I said it would have been nice to come to your business (Doc Holliday's Saloon) to eat and drink. But when we arrived the music was WAY too loud and the bartender was WAY down at the other end of the bar chatting with his friends. He never came to greet us. It did not take long for us to realize we were not wanted there so we left WAY before we even knew you did not serve food. Your response is a canned statement that you have used several times here with other reviews to try and deflect and mislead those reading the reviews. Trust me, I know exactly where I was and how it all played out, shame on you Doc Holliday's Saloon! I live in Colorado, I've been to Doc Holliday's grave, now I know why he is...
Read moreThe bar itself is a nice one that fits right into the atmosphere of Tombstone. They have tons of neat things on the walls and behind the bar to look at and to start conversations over if you’re a fan of the old west. However the bartender was very rude from the moment he approached us behind the bar. He had a sour look on his face as if me, my fiancé, and sister in laws presence was enough to ruin his day. He eyeballed all three of us very harshly as if we had fake ID’s or like if he’s never seen a Hispanic American before. He tossed our ID’s back at us when he was done mean mugging us. He was also upset at the fact that we asked for some shots of Jameson and he had to open a new bottle. His demeanor and poor attitude was enough for us to leave the bar after our single round of shots. My sister in law actually changed her mind and didn’t even order anything because of him. The bartender didn’t even have the courtesy to give me my change in my hand and tossed that as well. I served my country, have been around the world twice and not once did I ever experience customer service as rude or as ignorant as that. Shame on the bartender. You guys would profit more with someone who isn’t as bigot as that behind the bar.
In response to the owner, this was on the 2nd of this month. A...
