LET'S DAYTRIP TO TOMBSTONE 🤠 Tombstone, Arizona is the most authentic western town left in the States! It is also known as ā€œThe Town Too Tough to Dieā€ because it still has residents to this day. Nothing says Tombstone like (fake) gun fights, historical courthouses, and paranormal adventures šŸ‘» Starting your journey in Phoenix, Tombstone is just under a three hour drive south and an hour past Tucson. Here are our top 5 favorite things to do when visiting Tombstone🤩 1. Take a pit stop at Sarsaparilla Emporium for a refreshing root beer - it was only $3! 2. Take a walk through Allen Street for some window shopping - free! 3. Watch a historical gunfight at the Saloon Theatre, this is the best activity to really feel like your in the Wild West - $10 4. Visit the Boothill Graveyard to learn about those buried there. Fun fact: the cemetery stopped accepting new burials after 1883 except for local outlaws. - $3 5. Visit the oldest courthouse in Arizona! The courthouse is preserved in the Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park and costs $7 to enter. This is a great idea for a budget friendly day trip - all of this is under $30! Click the follow button for more day trip ideas!! šŸ””šŸš™ #tombstone #bisbee #tucson #daytrip #roadtrip #wildwest

I had a fantastic experience at this saloon theatre! The historical reenactment was fantastic! every single performer was engaging, talented, and clearly passionate about bringing history to life. The atmosphere was lively and immersive, making it feel like stepping back in time. A special shout-out to the lady that was selling the tickets, who was sweet, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, setting a great tone for the visit right from the start. Overall, this place is a must-visit if you're in the area, great entertainment, wonderful staff, and a truly memorable experience. I’d absolutely go again!

The only photo we got, because we were SO enthralled by the way these actors portrayed the story. They had us laughing, they engaged with the crowd, they even ā€˜broke the 4th wall’ which was even better. My husband who knew very little about the history of Tombstone walked away talking about everything he had learned. Another amazing aspect of this show was the noise cancelling headphones due to the loud gun fire. We learned all kinds of interesting things that were not portrayed correctly by the movie, too. Definitely recommend going to watch these amazing gentlemen!!

We went on 10/10/2019. It was ok but mainly because of historical lessons. We had just gotten to town when actor told us this was the best gun fight in Tombstone. We paid our money and sat down for the show but when showtime came we were told that there weren’t enough customers and the show was cancelled. (Show must go on?) In all fairness they offered us either a refund or the next show. We chose to come back but that cut into our time so much that we didn’t get to see the show at the actual OK Corral which is the biggest draw. The three man for four scenes show was ok but more actors would have been much much better. When the actor stood at the door holding pot for tips it was an uncomfortable moment. Bottom line is if you have to choose between show go to the Ok Corral and save this one...

We absolutely loved the Saloon Theater! My brother, his wife, and our 3 kids went. We felt like we were living in history! The short plays are well written, well acted out, and historically accurate. They show how rugged with wild west was, with all the great old timey catch phrases I wish I could remember. It is vivid but not overly gory. The setting is awesome, so authentic and comfortable. All the staff was fun and friendly. They give you sound proof protective wear for your ears if the gunshots bother you. The kids and adults loved it. The tickets also gave us a discount on the Butterfield StageCoach tours, which was also an awesome experience. Tombstone is a hell of a town! And doing these very affordable experiences makes the visit so much richer, bc you learn and immerse in the history...

I attended the last show on Friday afternoon on August 2nd and had a terrific time. Two things especially stood out: First, the actual shootouts were very intense and the historical information given after each shootout was especially interesting (I love history), and, second, I really appreciated all the courtesies the actors extended towards me. They appreciated my interest and seated me front and center, and also allowed me to dress-up like a gunslinger at the end for several photos. A wonderful theater group and a wonderful time----be sure to see them when you visit Tombstone, and, of course, be sure to visit Tombstone. There is a lot more to the story than you think! /s/...
