Folks this is a simple residential hotel 🏨🏨🏨 that is two stories spread out over a large courtyard. The main portion of the hotel is nice, pleasant and clean. In the morning this place has a free breakfast spread. Coffee is okay 👍 and the waffle, eggs, yogurt, sausage and fresh fruit orange 🍊 Bananas 🍌🍌🍌 and apples 🍏🍎 were appreciated 😋👍 breakfast here starts at 6 am and I believe goes to 9:30 am I think? When you check in ask about the free breakfast 🥐 and the breakfast hours of operation. The staff were all very polite and the room is nice. The room had cable TV ,and a full working kitchen it has a full size refrigerator with an ice maker, a stove top and a microwave, the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes silverware, cups, mugs cooking items like a spaghetti strainer, can opener and a. A small sitting table and chairs where 3 people can sit and eat dinner the bed had a pretty softness, but held firmness to it. It did not sag 😊😁 and the bedding was nice and very clean. There is a shower and a long couch which a third person can sleep on comfortably. Plus for each room -suite there is a free parking spot. There is an outside pool which I did not use due to the chill. Also they have a barbecue grilling area. Which I didn't use due to loosy weather. It was cold, raining, hail-balling and plain miserable 😖 outside when I was staying at this hotel so my party was happy 🤣 the room was clean and nice and they had good cable TV 😅 I would stay here again if if your looking for a decent meal with-in the area. This hotel is in walking distance of "Wing-Stop" a chicken and french fry place located around the corner and a few blocks down the street located at 20796 Hawthorne Blvd Torrance California 90503 these places have a pretty good chicken Menu. On a scale of one to ten I give it a ten. :)

Ceiling leaked water when it rained, puddle on floor. Ceiling had stains in various places where it previously leaked water. Room and bathroom outdated. Stale smell in room. Overcharged for room, worth at least $100 less than paid per night. Needed maintenance in kitchen and outside areas. Room was more like a cheap motel than a quality Marriott property. Bathroom toilet was a size made for children, and cramed into small space next to shower. Charged for parking, but lot not secure because parking lot gate open a few times at night and morning, on and off for a few days. Breakfast in a 2-star hotel in Europe or Canada surpases this alleged 3-star hotel. Picture of food advertised definately NOT was available the few times I checked over a few days. The 500 free points offered onto my Marriott account will never make up for this ripoff. The other reviews posted were likely a paid service used to artificially raise the rating. Marriott should revoke use of its name at this motel.

*update i came back! 🚗 also parking is free it might say differently online. It might not always be free but both times I stayed it was. 🎁 I brought my parents to Cali as a Christmas present and we stayed here and my parents loved it. Will always love to stay here this place is amazing. Get to breakfast early cause the tables get full quick but remember there’s a second level. It did get noisy outside cause it’s by a mall so just be aware. This place is beautiful! It is so cute. The apartment like style is great and they have breakfast and a basketball court and dog friendly. A barbeque area and a whirlpool to go along with the pool. The staff is also amazingly friendly I loved them. Each suite is in it's own little house with one room on top of the other. Super hip.

Location was great! It was super convenient to be close to the grocery store, many eating options, and the beach. Check-in was easy. Parking was convenient during the week, but Friday and Saturday night was difficult to find a spot close to our unit. Unit had nice high ceilings and a comfortable feel. Living Room was spacious and had convenient side tables for the chair and sleeper sofa. Kitchen had almost everything we needed. The refrigerator, oven, and toaster were perfect. Could have used more cooking utensils (spatula, knives, etc...), a mixing bowl, and measuring cups. The small Dining table was a great place for my older son to do his classes on zoom during the day and for us to eat during mealtime. The Lower Bedroom was comfortable and had lots of space for our clothes and bags. The desk fit both of my monitors and laptop. The plug strip was convenient. The closet had more than enough hangers for our clothes. I didn't like the bedroom door because it didn't lock and one of the windows wasn’t frosted enough for our privacy. The Master Bedroom Bathroom was small and didn't have enough counter space. the sink soaps were tiny and we went through them quickly. The tub was a bit short but deep. The water pressure and heat was great. The Body Wash, Shampoo, Conditioner, and Lotion was awesome! The bathroom really needs a place to hang swim clothes! Upper Bedroom was comfortable as well. The kids stayed in that room for most of the week, but my younger sone go scared when he saw a bug on the ceiling Friday night so they started sleeping on the sleeper sofa. The counter space near the upper bathroom became the workspace for my younger son's classes on zoom. We asked for another chair so he could work from there and the hotel provided it. Note that the dining room chairs are a better height for this. The Upper Bathroom was uncomfortably small. The Grab-and-go Breakfast every morning had a surprisingly good selection, given the Covid restrictions. Wish you had tea for people like me that do not drink coffee. The Pool was headed and comfortable. The depth was spot on! The hot tub jets were great and had excellent pressure, but the control was way on the other side of the pool. A major disappointment was the tiny towels in the pool area. The Internet speed was great, but it cut out once on Friday night and cut out alot on Saturday. This was to the point that I needed to use my phone's internet most of the day on Saturday and couldn't sit through...

I recently visited this hotel and last weekend and I will never stay here again. On the first day when I got to my room I noticed that the bathroom isn’t a full open bathroom; the shower and toilet is closed off on it’s on and I get claustrophobic so this bathroom wouldn’t workout for me. I have stayed here before and had a regular bathroom I didn’t know they had different bathroom floor plans besides when your handicap. I asked the lady at the front desk did they have anything and she showed me two rooms to ask me was this bathroom floor plan that I was talking about and I said yes. She told me she couldn’t change my room tonight but I asked her what about tomorrow and she said yes because people are checking out on Friday’s I’ll leave a note. I heard from nobody I was going back and forth I felt like they didn’t take me set about because being claustrophobic I paid all this money and I would think the service would be better. Then on Friday room service came to my door and I told the lady let me just grab my things and I will be out of your way. I came back later that night and they didn’t do anything the trash was still full, the bed wasn’t made and no new towels. The next day I had left early in the morning and came back and my room still wasn’t clean so I called the front desk and I told the lady and she said well we only clean your room when you stay after four days but I told her nobody told me that and that housekeeping came to my door the day before to clean and didn’t do there job. She said that someone will clean my room at 4:30pm and it’s past that time so I called the front desk back and the guy told me that housekeeping leaves at 4pm and I said well then why would the lady even tell me that someone will be coming to my room. I’ve never had this experience before and nobody was able to solve any of these problems that I had. Nobody...

This was one of the worst “Airbnb”s I have ever stayed in! :-) I say that because instead of being greeted as a Platinum Elite as I am at every other Marriott property including the nearby Residence Inn in Redondo, I was asked to read policies and sign and initial 3 times saying that I authorize a $300 deposit in addition to the rate for 3 nights! Why does 1 Residence Inn charge a deposit and another one literally 15 minutes away does not? No acknowledgement of the status, no bottles of water, nothing. Then I realized in the room that there was no ice bucket or ice machine mentioned so I had to wait for the freezer to make ice and had to use the tap water. I was on a ground level room and the ceilings were so thin, that people just walking around was so loud it woke me up twice. The breakfast was very standard and the eggs were very dry and over cooked and no fruit! At all, no fruit. The last night my key did not work so I called the front desk and he said “just come up here and get a new one”. I explained I had all of my work stuff and food and I had an app so why couldn’t he reset it. He did and it worked just fine without me having to come all the way up there. Also, the keys didn’t work because there was a power outage earlier in the day… So they couldn’t reset the system where the app would at least work? Also, every other hotel sends text notices asking how the stay is and they couldn’t send a text saying that your key and app will not work when you get back to your room? At checkout, they never asked how it was and now over a week later, no survey was sent. I also noticed on their map of the property something that said “elite lounge,” and I had no idea what that was, and still do not because no one had mentioned it to me. If you are considering this hotel, I advise you to pick another one that values the customer experience better than...
