I will never shop here again. The store itself is nice and most of the employees are as well. However there are a couple who are nothing but rude and insulting. Particularly one old, heavy set Lady with glasses who works self check out. I've been going to this tops for years without a problem until last week. I was going through self check out as I always do with my son and his grandmother and this lady had the audacity to come over and accuse me of shoplifting because she wasn't doing her job and paying attention cause she was to busy talking to someone. I understand shoplifting is a problem and I know it's her to job to look out for it but the way she went about it was completely unacceptable. I would have understood if she came up and explained that she didn't see what I had scanned and asked to check my order only she didn't. She came up to us and instantly accused me of being a thief and stealing very loudly in front of everyone and claimed I didn't scan anything that was in my bags. At that point I was completely mortified, embarrassed and angry. I asked her how she came to such a conclusion and she claimed she didn't see me scan anything. Not once did she ask to check my order or ask to see what I scanned she just blatantly accused me. At that point I asked to speak to a manager which she didn't call she called a service lead which is not the same thing and though I applaud her for trying to have her associates back I didn't like the lies she tried to feed me to do it. Having worked at tops for over 6 years myself I know how things are done. As I said I understand shoplifting is an issue but to address the situation as she did was unacceptable and rude. So is you choose to shop here be prepared for the very possible and embarrassing situation of being accused of stealing, mistreated and lied to just so they can shut you up...

He clearly was trying to start an arguement with me. Made me feel so uncomfortable with the looks he gave me. At one piont he rolled his eyes at me. The first night trying to get the card activated he was so condescending and just wanted me to leave. The next day it was worse and instead of admitting a mistake he put the blame on me. Definitly had a power trip. And instead of activating the giftcard i was given a new one even the customer service employee questioned if she can do that. Then he took photos with his phone of my giftcard. After asking 3x for my original receipt, which I got the feeling he wanted to keep or just wanted me to make a scene (I never engaged which I could tell made him mad because his sarcasm kept increasing). But he made coppies of my original receipt from the night before and made me sign it I dont understand why I had to sign my receipt but ok I just wanted my money and to leave. I contacted customer service about my concerns since he has my giftcard information on his personal cell phone and could easily use it and about how he treated me, but no one responded back to me. Starting with the gentleman retrieving carts in lot. Thanks for patience and leaving a cart for me. I didn't mean to block your work flow. Some of the items I couldn't find. I asked stocking staff where these items were located. They were very knowledgeable and cordial and didn't mind helping me. At one instance I couldn't find Glaceau water. A manager walked me to the isle and he showed where it was and explained why I couldn't find it. My cashier (James) was absolutely wonderful. He new what he was doing and was patient with me using the Monopoly paper coupons and Monopoly Bonus card coupons (coupons weren't coming off). He took care of what he could and called for the front end manager. She too was great. Everyone was courteous, patient and most of all knowledgeable, knowledgeable, knowledgeable. Kudos to the work team working this evening. I had an impatient person waiting for me in my car, so I may have appeared frazzled, but in my hurriedness I am greatful to your professionalism to a customer short on time. I would also like to add this location is immaculate inside and out....
