I thought I would bring my cracked phone here because it was close to my office and the reviews were pretty good. I used to repair cell phones myself so I am pretty familiar with the process.
After they fixed my screen, I quickly realized it was a cheap after market part. It wasn't sitting very well on my phone. Also, I wasn't able to see the screen at all while wearing my sunglasses. I do a lot of driving for my job and use my phone for directions. I went back and told them that this screen was defective and I would like my old cracked screen back along with a refund. The rep Jose offered to buy replacement glass for my old cracked screen but did not have the part in stock and was told it would be there within 3-4 days. I didn't really want to deal with this business anymore, but tried to be nice and give them a chance.
Later that night, my phone cracked in my pocket without even being dropped. After explaining this to Cellphone Resurrection, they told me that only managers can issue refunds (they were on vacation) and the fact that my screen is cracked would almost guarantee I wouldn't get one. (even though the part is already defective as it is).
I later brought my phone to a more professional cellphone repair shop(I won't say the name because I don't want to seem like I am advertising, I am just upset). They explained that this store used cheap parts and lacked the proper tools to fix my phone the correct way. It turned out my phone was bent prior to the repair and most cell phone repair stores have a tool/machine that is able to bend the phone straight. However this business did not even attempt to do so, and I was also informed they didn't replace a lot of the screws that were in my phone prior to the repair.
Overall, I would not recommend you bring your phone here. The after market screen they give is poor quality and they are not repairing the...
Read moreI have gone here a few times. Last 2 times were today and 2 weeks ago.
Today was to bring my "fixed" ( by Jason at this location)laptop back because there was a sticky glue like substance on the computer screen after my mouse pad was "fixed". There was glue on the mouse pad too. Brought the laptop back to be cleaned up as the owner asked me. Got it back with the original problem still there. Mouse pad sticking/staying depressed. Owner said come back get a refund and he "won't take laptop back in". I was very confused. I guess he doesn't want me as a customer anymore,? I wish he was honest from the beginning & say he couldn't fix it instead of charging me money and having me go back & forth multiple times.
2 weeks ago? It was my sons ganecube. Jason Said $20 to change the battery. I go to pick it up? $40. I said it was $20 originally. What happened? He denied that he said $20. Like someone else said.drop off no receipt. It was he said she said. I paid the $40.
Now? He lost a customer & it seems like he doesn't care. Very sad doing business like this .
Time for me to take my...
Read moreAfter going to two locations to check out my iPhone 13 Pro that was having a glitch which both places were unable to rectify for me. Somebody told me about cell phone resurrection in Babylon Village and the owner Jason so I went to see Jason. He told me he would take a look at it, and if he could not fix it, he would not charge me a fee, needless to say I came back an hour later and my phone was completely fixed and refurbished for a very reasonable price. He also threw in screen protector and gave me a great price on the new OtterBox case. When all was send it done, I walked away for less than $100 and cost with something that the other places told me I needed to get rid of the phone or buy a new one. Jason was able to take this phone and bring it back to life. I highly recommend Jason and cell phone resurrection in Babylon Village, he won me over for a lifelong customer . Jason knows what he’s doing and ihas very reasonable prices for the work...
