
Moving to Long Island from Brooklyn 3 months ago I was looking for a new way to get back into a fitness routine. After healing from a hip fracture, I knew I needed a supportive and strong environment to start my fitness journey back up again, and I found just that at OG. Everyday I am surrounded by some of the highest performing athletes I’ve ever seen. Which in itself, pushes you to do better and be better.
Coach Evan has been a standout mentor. Since day one he has had a welcoming nature and made me feel at ease. As a newbie, he made sure I understood the programming and setup. However, when that timer goes off for class to begin, his personality gears into grit, motivation and power. Every class you are pushed to your limits, which in the end is so rewarding.
I came in with little knowledge about weight training and a lot of uncertainty, but the team at OG created a community that not only promotes physical growth but personal growth as well. Competition, distance/calories challenges and partner work have been key factors of success at OG.

She offers excellent modifications and challenges without pressure or judgement. You can feel her passion for yoga and living authentically in each class. She effortlessly creates a harmonious space for her students to practice. Besides that, the space is always very clean and professional. Our outdoor yoga included complimentary beverages. Mats and blocks were available, despite the location being off-site for the Bailey Arboretum class. I also appreciated the sign guiding us to the space. You can tell that the effort from every employee was there to make everyone feel comfortable and part of the community. Like I even tried just to show up and couldn't find parking any were its right next abandoned walbaums that's been closed for years not safest area.
