Absolutely horrible experience. The front desk worker Joe was incredibly rude. I work with an autistic adult and we’re practicing him asking for things on his own. So he asked for the one hour bowling session and Joe tried to rush him along. Joe refused to even make eye contact with my client and only spoke to me. There was no line and no reason to not allow him the extra five seconds so that my client could speak for himself. I bowled as well and asked if it was necessary for me to wear bowling shoes (as some places don’t require it if you are already wearing closed toe shoes). Joe responded with “yeah”. I took the shoes but saw that around 90% of the other bowlers in the establishment were not wearing them (there was about 25 other people there). So I decided not to wear them seeing as it did not seem to be a strictly enforced rule. Now I do understand I should have followed the guidelines provided. But after about five frames into our game Joe came up and got directly into my coworkers face and said “if she goes up again without bowling shoes I’m shutting down the lane” in a very rude and irate tone. My coworker simply said that his tone was uncalled for and that many other customers were not wearing bowling shoes. Joe then said he was planning on telling them after he spoke with us. Yet all of these people had arrived earlier than us. Joe disregarded me completely and only spoke with my male coworker. He seemed to want to use his “power” to show that he was in charge. He was extremely rude and had just about zero customer service skills. I have never written a review before on Google but I told myself that I had to because this man was just so horrible that the bowling alley he works for needs to see that he should be fired. As well as any parent or guardian who plans to take any children or any special needs child or adult to this facility PLEASE SEEK OTHER OPTIONS. I wish I could give negative one...
Read moreI’ve been here twice in the past month with some friends. First time we were there the guy at the register took 45 minutes to get the register to accept our cash. Finally after all that, he couldn’t figure out how to turn the lane on and said the tech wouldn’t be in until 8pm (this was at 7:30 mind you). Finally things get working and all is finally okay... until the third game we paid for ends halfway through.
Whatever, we thought it was just bad luck and decided to give it another chance tonight. What a mistake that turned out to be. We tried to pay for our games on a credit card but the terminal wouldn’t work and the guy at the register didn’t know how to fix it (same guy as last time). So I had to lay out $40 cash on the spot to help cover my friends, I don’t mind but it certainly wasn’t what I was expecting. My first frame of the night, I threw an 8, but the computer gave me a gutter ball. The game machines wouldn’t allow us to change the score so we had to ask the man at the front desk to reset the game when we had barely even started. After this, bowling went great until once again, they turned off our lanes before we completed our third game that we had paid for. We had told our complaints about our two visits to a manager and she didn’t seem to care less. Her advice was to come back and try again, “some nights things work, some nights they don’t.” Not the attitude a manager should have.
The place is completely understaffed given that the nightly deals attract large crowds; the clueless man at the register and the manager who had no regard for her customers was it. As previously stated, they will try to cheat you out of your final game unless you complain to the front desk. Bathrooms are also unkept and not clean. Would have been nice to use soap after using the restroom. We won’t be returning anytime soon, not that management cared about...
Read moreThe worst possible place to go! I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life. Went there Saturday night ( called before going and I was told they don’t take reservations but “you should be good”). Went there at 6pm with my husband and son (4yearsold) and meet with our friends (two adults and kids (3 and 5). We were told upon arriving “give me few minutes”. The whole bowling place was empty. Women working there was passing us multiple times not making eye contact and caring wines bottles to the bar. After 30min my husband asked what are we are waiting for and she said that they have a league coming at 7pm and she doesn’t know if it’s a full house. Then she said it’s not a full house and that she will give us a line, took our money and give us bowling shoes. After we put shoes on our kids she said she actually not gonna give us a line and “usually we don’t do this but we will give you your money back”. Our kids started crying, she wasted 50min of our time and was not apologetic at all. Almost made it seem that she’s doing us a favor by giving us our money back. My friend asked for a supervisor name, she wouldn’t give it to us, she said she doesn’t know. Than we asked for her name she claimed it was Dawn but we don’t even know if it was true. The whole place is very outdated to start with but the service we received was beyond...
