Update: After posting this review to Yelp. Owner has been contacting me there. Has stated multiples times it was another vendor but with his table runner that and he knows who the person is but refuses to tell me. That they don’t work for him but refuses to provide proof and that I am harassing him.
Response to owner:
I don’t have you confused with another table at all. Even my friends who were there said that they saw your banner and logo on the table the other person was selling from. As you just admitted, your banner stretched multiple tables.
If I go in to a store with a Walmart sign, I’m expecting to be shopping at Walmart. I would t expect Walmart to say “oh our sign was there but that was actually a Home Depot store”. So if you don’t want someone ruining your name, don’t put yourself as that table. The person selling at that table had your banner under him. You said it was a friend or acquaintance and then couldn’t tell me who it was in our messages. Which I did block you because I didn’t need you coming back in saying I’m trying to destroy a small business and guilt me in to taking down a review for something that is 100 percent your fault.
I would respectfully decline coming to the new store for following few reasons.
being it will probably smell bad from whomever is eating whatever smelly food like the last store
I don’t feel respected in the slightest
You refuse to take any fault for an issue you caused. If the banner with your stores logo wasn’t on the table, this wouldn’t be an issue. But it was and you still act like it’s a non issue.
A big part now is because of the Trump type slogan you just used. I would not feel comfortable in the slightest at a place that supports him. I do really hope that is just a phrase you are parodying and not any type of an endorsement of that evil man.
Original Review:
So I originally made a review about a year ago. At a convention they apparently let some one use there booth to also sell stuff. The man at the booth told the price of an item was 30 dollars and when I said how cheap that was, the man started boasting about his prices. When I sent him the 30 he looked at me and said "Where's the rest?" I was confused and said he said it was 30 dollars and the guy laughed "Oh, you thought 30 dollars, no it's 30,000 dollars." Even my friend said to him he told me 30 dollars. He gave me my money back and I came home and wrote a 1 star review. Then one of the guys at his booth was just laughing at us.
About a week later I got a Facebook message from some one who turned out to be the owner basically saying it wasn't him and it was some one he was letting use his banner. So I asked how you can see I would think it was your table and he basically told me no, he has zero responsibility to it and I'm just trying to destroy a small business and I should feel bad.
So instead of this man trying to extend some kind of olive branch and figure out what happened, he basically just in guns blazing and saying I was just trying to destroy a small business. I was/still am going through a lot family stuff so I just placated him and said I would remove the review, basically because I didn't need anymore stress in my life. But I do want to post this and let people know he will go out his way to track you down on social media.
Instead of trying to take responsibility, it was everyone else's fault. It's not me trying to destroy his business, it's him. If you came to me with out the attitude and took some blame for the mess up of some one vending at a table with your table runner on it, I'd go the extra mile and say how great you were. Instead I have avoided your booth like the plague and have not returned to you store. I visited twice and thought it was a nice little shop. I have friends who play there and say they only do so because they have no...
Read moreTLDR: shipping is a little expensive but the speed of service, the competitive pricing of cards, and the overall quality of how they run their business is more than worth it. Will definitely be ordering again.
I don’t even remember where I heard of this place but I am so glad I did! I ordered online and was not disappointed! First off, I will say they are one of four companies I have ordered Pokemon cards online from. They have the fairest prices I’ve seen anywhere. I can’t imagine that they’re marked up much at all. They have a pretty good offering of products. The only thing in my opinion that they’re missing are the more obscure or older packs. Like the detective pikachu movie packs for example. But I’d guess the people looking for those are not their predominant customer. I love that they sell the online codes for packs as I’m someone that plays the actual trading card game and plays it online. The prices for the codes are the best I’ve seen yet and they had a pretty big offering of which booster packs you could buy online codes for. The biggest thing that stood out to me about their online codes was that I ordered a ton and they threw in some extras for free!!! I was so pleasantly surprised and just overall psyched when I opened the package to see this especially because I think they gave me some that were sold out when I placed my order. In terms of packaging/shipping, the biggest (and really only) turn off was the shipping cost. But I believe I saw somewhere that they’re trying to get this cost down! And with the competitive pricing of cards, I really wasn’t that bothered by it. I would say order enough cards to make the shipping cost worth it but I can see how this would be a turn off if you could only afford or only wanted a couple packs. But the package was shipped extremely quickly, I’m not sure I’ve ever had anything I’ve ever ordered shipped so quickly. And the cards were packaged very well. I ordered on the 1st, they shipped early the next day, and I had them on the 5th. So super prompt and they were very well protected. Besides the occasional odd packs I look for that I mentioned before, I really can’t see myself ordering Pokemon cards from anyone else! I was beyond satisfied with my experience and will definitely be ordering again. I would highly recommend anyone looking for Pokemon cards to give this place a shot! I wish they could supply all the hobby...
Read more**owner is now trying to claim no fault on their part. The person I was in contact with on Facebook was the owner of the business and it is a personal Facebook account with him listed as the owner "After double-checking to be 100% sure, yes he is listed as the owner of the business at this address 729 Acorn St, Deer Park, NY 11729 - Rip N Ship Arena LLC".
Despite the response from the owner on Google this review is 100% related to Rip N Ship Gaming. If the owner was more civil and not told me and I quote "Please delete your review and grow up" I would have honestly went ahead and deleted the review but the owner had originally chosen to approach things in a hostile manner and now wants to take no fault for the way he acted towards me. I hope you can learn to treat people better than that and approach situations in a more civil manner in the future.**
Didn't have a great experience with this vendor. I attempted to make a purchase with the owner through Facebook after he put up a listing on one of the Facebook groups. He quoted me a price and after telling him to go ahead n send the invoice I was ignored for several messages afterwards. Made an attempt to get back in touch the following day and he said he was busy but never mentioned if he was planning to send the invoice. I ended up needing more celebrations items than I was going to initially order but I had to find someone else to buy from. I was looking for a new shop to start buying from with the upcoming brilliant stars release but I am gonna keep looking since the owner couldn't make any time for me. Bad...
