Ollie's Bargain Outlet — Attraction in Town of Canandaigua

Ollie's Bargain Outlet is a satisfactory establishment. I have given it a rating of three out of five stars for several reasons. Firstly, they are handicap accessible, which is a commendable feature. Additionally, they are currently hiring staff, which may be of interest to some individuals. However, there are certain aspects of the store that I find less favorable. The aisles are quite narrow, making it difficult to navigate, especially when the store is crowded. Furthermore, while they are handicap accessible, the store can become somewhat inaccessible when it is overly crowded.

Another point of dissatisfaction is their pricing strategy. While they market themselves as a bargain outlet, I have found that their prices are not particularly competitive. I used to actually really like this location. And even though they do still have good stuff, the rudeness of the staff has completely turned me off from coming here anymore. My cashier was complaining the whole time she was cashing me out that people kept coming to her line when she wasn't even supposed to be on register. Well there was no one at any other lane so how are customers supposed to know that you're not the cashier if the actual cashier wasn't at their station? As someone who also works with the public, in customer service, I found it to be very rude and unprofessional. She made me feel like I was a bother to her and it made me feel quite uncomfortable. From now on I'll be taking my business to the Webster location, which is a shame because this location was closer. There was a huge variety. When I was at the check out an employee, Sue, I'm guessing she was a manager or assistant. She displayed some of the best customer service I have seen in a very long time. She was friendly, talkative, polite when another rude customer was at a different register. Our too short of a conversation with her kindness definitely turned my day around. She deserves many kudos and then some. I hope her holidays get better and she can find some true time...
