Floor & Decor — Attraction in Town of Cheektowaga

We used Floor & Decor for everything during our bathroom renovation. Great selection of flooring and tile - they have everything you can possibly need for your project. If I could write this review for just the staff I would give them 5/5 stars, everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable they made our shopping experience very pleasant. HOWEVER, good luck if you’re stuck with dealing with management about any returns/damages, Our vanity came broken and we paid to have the replacement delivered to us instead and even paid the $250 delivery fee. Two days later, I get a call from the store stating the manager wouldn’t honor an exchange for a damaged vanity and they kept accusing us of damaging it, and that they wouldn’t replace or deliver it. Mind you, at this point I’ve already paid for the delivery + the vanity itself. What would they have done if I had just picked up the replacement the same day? You can’t just change your mind after already processing an exchange. Thank god I kept all the receipts! Then after a lengthy phone call with their corporate office they finally replaced the broken vanity but wouldn’t offer us delivery. My dad is in his 50s and he had to hire people in order to get this vanity into our house. The managers were so rude and condescending during this whole process and they would probably be the only reason I wouldn’t come back...

Update- The supposed “kind” outreach you see below yielded nothing. Most disturbing is when I asked to see video footage of the truck being loaded, I was told a flat NO. That NO spoke volumes and reaffirmed what I already knew… that the truck was damaged in the loading process. To close on a positive note… I went into Floor and Décor to replace a few marked tiles. When I went back to get the replacement tiles, I noticed my tile had been discounted. The manager on duty kindly adjusted my original purchase price down to the discounted value - I was still within the return period. Finding the silver lining makes the injustice a bit more tolerable.

First.. the positive... tile selection was outstanding. The people on the showroom floor were very helpful. However, the tailgate of my truck was damaged as the warehouse employee was loading my truck. I am 100% positive the damage was caused as a result of the pallet jack machine getting wedged under the opened tailgate as the load was being slid into the back...

Our experience shopping at Floor and Decor in Cheektowaga was fantastic. Great staff and great products. The associate Brandon was pleasant and helpful. Brandon offered useful suggestions regarding my questions about shower niches. He even measured the shower niches that were in the floor model showers, which helped me to decide and purchase the size I liked best. Sales associate Haylee was also fantastic. Haylee took us around to see the various tiles that could possibly match our main tile selection. What was helpful was when Haylee then placed the tiles we chose on a display table, pairing the wall and floor tiles so we could appreciate what the combination would look like, and even matched them up against a grout color selector so we could choose the best matching grout. This helped to make our decision and choices much easier. Both Haylee and Brandon provided really great customer service and made us feel that they genuinely paid attention to us....
