Iāll give it a 2 star because Iām big on safety specially with toddlers. The entrance gate is unable to be locked therefore giving the liberty for any child to exit the playroom area into the streets. Also there is a back door opened near the bathroom area where any child can access it and exit the area who knows what tragic accident can occur if a parent is not vigilant. I did open the door and there was no safety feature in place and this leads also to outside. It is an exit door with no door lock . In the play area I noticed there is a significant gap on the mat that if a child is running and one of his feet gets caught it can easily cause a bad injury like a fracture or sprain. I work in an emergency pediatric hospital where Iām very familiarized with all the above preventable issues Iāve mentioned that when not addressed children are most likely to have a serious accident. Another observation, the temperature outside dropped and noticed that the inside was cold and never felt that there was a heating system in place. Had to have my granddaughter put on her sweater even as much activity as she was doing it was cold inside. Hope in the winter some sort of thermostat is in place. The girl at the front desk had her coat on the entire time. Thatās never a good sign. Lastly, I was disappointed that there is no membership plan. Itās a flat fee every time you come. Bring your food there is almost nothing to eat other than soda beverages, water, chips, and candy. By the way, if these safety issues are fixed and the thermostat is in place I would come back and rate it higher. I do like the fact that is clean and small however these safety problems concern me enough not to go back until they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA lot of fun for my 14 month old. He was ecstatic running around the play area, the slides, and the ball pit.
It wasn't very busy when we went, so it may be difficult to follow a kid his age around on a crowded day.
It was very clean and well maintained. We probably explored every inch of the place. The guy working the desk was quite friendly.
I will give this place 5 stars, however I would strongly encourage the owners to remediate one thing identified in other reviews: the back door. The door was cracked open when we went. Of course, parents are responsible for supervising their kids. However, securing this door would be a no brainer in my opinion. It's a simple fix that remediates what could end up being a liability.
I didn't think it was that cold, but my wife did. I think bringing a sweater...
Ā Ā Ā Read more2 stars because safety measures are not in place. We attended a birthday party at GoPlayland and my child had a great time. However as a parent, the lack of safety and staff monitoring can be dangerous.
First, there is no waiver you have to sign. Anyone can enter or exit the front gate. Second, children of all ages were mixed in the ball pit. I was with my three year old child and kids were throwing balls hard, it hit one of the young girls in the face. No parents or staff monitoring rough play. Kids riding the bicycles incredibly fast around the track.
They do not close down the place for birthday parties so it can be crowded on the weekend. Perhaps, it is better during the week or when birthdays are not happening.
This could be a good place for older children but not for toddlers or...
