I wouldn’t even rate this salon a one star but I had to for google purposes. If I could this would get a -5 star rating. I would not recommend this salon to anyone ever. Le who is a worker and seems to hold a manager position at the salon is very unprofessional, rude, and selfish. About 10 years ago I came to this salon for my birthday to get my nails done and couldn’t even have the full manicure completed because the lady working on my nails cut my cuticles so far up that I was bleeding non stop. She stated that the cuticle cutter was new and that’s why she cut me so bad. In response to the lady doing my nails Le asked my mother to not sue or post on Facebook which wasn’t our intentions or even in our thoughts. At that point I was in pain and bleeding on my birthday all because I went to this salon for a simple manicure. So she offered five free services which now looking back wasn’t worth it. I continued going to this salon but instead of getting my nails done with the lady who cut me bad I started going to Le. At first she was decent with me and then as the years passed she became very annoyed, agitated, and was always rushing to finish my nails. I still kept giving her business and ignored it because she does good work. But she has awful customer service when doing your nails and you ask her for help or if she can do your nails a certain way. Fast forward to this year a few days ago now, to be more specific a day before my little sisters birthday I brought her in to get her nails and toes painted. Whoever was available took her and it was a lady who clearly disregarded my wishes on how to handle my sisters nails. I asked her to not file multiple times more than 5 times to be exact. She still took it upon herself to file her toes and nails. More specifically she filed her toes so much that she irritated her skin and at some point was filing her skin because there was no nail to file. My sister was afraid to speak up and even after she jumped while she was filing and pouring solution on her feet to clean them she ignored that and continued filing. Once we left my sister complained that two of her toes were burning and when I took a look I could see exactly why. She filed her skin off. When I called to speak to Le her response was I could bring her back and get it taken off. I said to her why would I do that if I paid already and that I was just letting her know the issue so this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Le then said what do you want me to do? Then she said come back get your money and we are refusing future services from you and she tried to throw in the pricing and how I had a problem with the pricing which I never did. Pricing at this salon is a whole new story to get into. They tell you one price and try to charge you another and when you ask for a break down they are hesitant and can’t explain. The way I was treated after so many years and after having a horrible experience I would never recommend anyone to this salon ever because of how you are treated when they do something wrong and you speak up about it. Also Le tried to make it seem like she was afraid to serve me in the future as if I threatened her or something when I simply told her the issue in the most calmest way not expecting anything in return but maybe an apology for my younger sister having to endure pain from getting her nails and feet done which wasn’t even a full manicure or pedicure. She was to just paint her toes and fingers and that’s all instead she filed her toes so short that she started filing skin when clearly they were already short and didn’t need filing on top of the fact that I asked her to please not file more than once. Save yourself the money and hassle and go to a salon who has good customer service and actually cares about the customer and not just there for the money! They also over charge for a mediocre service that...
Read moreI’m not sure where to start. When I first inquired I was given prices for the manicures and pedicures we wanted. When seated an older woman flipped through the book and asked me which pedicure I wanted. I knew from my first inquiry that the pedicures were $35 but she flipped to a page in the book and told me to pick from three choices that started at $65 a pedicure. I had to flip back to the front of the book and tell her no I want this one, she was not happy and from then on had an attitude. When she started my pedicure, it was rough. I’ll let her know, She was hurting me as she was drilling my toenails and she assured me that she knew what she was doing and that she was gonna make them look good, to be clear my toes were fine. I was only getting a pedicure to go along with the group. I asked her to stop what she was doing because she was cutting away all of my nails and I like them a bit longer she continued and cut all of my nails, and then I had no choice, but to cut the other foot to match. When I let her know what color I want on my toes she brought over a completely different color although I showed her the color from the picture I took on my phone of their selection. It took them a while to find the gel color of what I wanted. My toes came out OK minus cutting away all of the length that I wanted to keep. When she started on my nails I got a full set. The price listed was not the price that she told me and because my nails weren’t the shortest length possible it cost extra, which is understandable. As she was building my nails with acrylic She did not put any on the tips, they were still flexible. I asked her if she could cover the entire nail with acrylic and she got an attitude. On the other side of the salon, my mom which was the birthday girl was happy with her services, but my aunt was very unhappy. She wanted a manicure with dip as they proceeded to do the manicure. She asked if they could cut her cuticles they responded We don’t do cuticles with dip. You have to pay extra for cuticle removal. In my 20 years of receiving services. I’ve never heard that you had to pay extra for them to clean up your cuticles during a manicure. After they finish the manicure and dip powder, she informed him that they hadn’t in fact covered her whole nail with dip, and they refuse to fix it. The side of her nails were not covered and exposed while the rest of her nail was painted red. Because they wouldn’t fix it, She asked them to remove it as she was not happy with the service. The fourth person being serviced had to instruct her person on what to do with her nails as she was simply getting a fill And it wasn’t coming out correctly. All in all I wouldn’t recommend getting service at this salon. The gentleman who seem to be the manager was very nice but not accommodating to hearing clients ask for what they want. They can only to give the services that their providers could perform which is not up to par. If the provider can’t do, what’s being asked, they should not be allowed to service people until they have that skill perfected. My cuticles ended up peeling ridiculously the next day and my polish and acrylic is uneven in multiple places. If you need something quick and there’s nothing else available this may be the place for you, but if you’re used to quality work and you’re used to good customer service, this is not the place. There’s another salon downstairs in a barbershop that was booked out for the day and...
Read moreI had a pedicure and manicure at this salon today. Although this was not my first time here it was byfar the worst experience I had ever had getting nails done anywhere. Since it’s summer time I asked for no exfoliation scrub on my legs for my pedicure as I didn’t want my tan to be uneven on my legs. So I figured I’d get lotion the women only put lotion on my feet and then had me dip my lotion covered feet back into the water. The water in the pedicure tub continued to run and was very hot on my feet throughout whole pedicure temp was not adjusted even though I asked. I did get gel on my toes so it would last longer in the summer. She was very rough on my toes while trimming my cuticles to the point that my toenails are still sore hours after the service. When she was cleaning the polish after it set it was stinging because of cuts and abrasions on my toes while she did my pedicure.
Then moving to my manicure I just asked for my nails and cuticles to be cleaned up. No polish, just and old school manicure to clean up my cuticles. During my manicure she pushed on my nails so hard that my nail beds are sore to touch. When I told her it hurt she mumbled and continued and blamed it on my not getting manicures often. (I get a basic one every three months and have never had this problem) She tore up my cuticles and left me bleeding and left my hands looking worse then when I arrived.
For a gel pedicure and simple manicure no polish, I was charged $52, and even though I did not want to I gave a $5 tip, if I was thinking clearly I wouldn’t not have left anything but I just wanted to get out of there, I am normally very much an over tipper.
Even though I have had good experiences in the past at this salon I will NOT be returning here. I am somewhat scared from my experience...
