Went in with low expectation and blown away. Having done sandbox VR before, this was very different as the experience was more engaging and the technology seemed much more advanced. The players could interact with each other in virtual world and in some cases virtual objects also had a real life presence which made the experience much more immersive. The technology was not without minor glitches but the secret is not to move fast as follow instructions. The staff was a delight, friendly knowledgeable (Shot out to Adam) and not just some guys that were just there doing their job rather knowledgeable, passionate and engaging through the experience. At the end of the experience we were given a video and QR codes on a chip (poker like) which could project our chosen avatar as a hologram anywhere you can use your phone. One of our party members couldn’t make it and we were promised a refund without an issue. Overall a really great experience. This place is certainly underrated and I hope to go back with more friends as they get new content in...
Read moreThe edge VR is a very unique experience, it is not like any other VR in Westchester even! My group was 5 people and they all had mixed feeling. I had a very fun time despite the cost being super overpriced and the experience being overall short. Some members of my party were scared of the VR and one younger member (age 10) even was crying about the experience. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The entire experience was super advanced technologically and was very impressive in my eyes. Somebody will help guide you through the levels of the game which was helpful. Not the usual VR experience where you’re just sitting and watching. You will be walking, shooting and touching things, which some people like and those with sensory issues may not enjoy as much and you are required to wear monitors on you legs, arms, back, etc. I would recommend to older people maybe 14 and up. I will probably not be returning due to the cost. Not something I feel I need to do more than twice as it is the...
Read moreThe place was nice on the inside but the actual experience was a disappointment. The workers were kind and the actual equipment gave the sense of there being something more, but the game was bare bones.
There was a puzzle and shooting part but they hardly posed a challenge and before you know it the game is over, especially with the dialogue that seemed to take up close to half the time you have. Not to mention that when we came in a group we expected to be put together but we were split because apparently we were a group of four and the game didn’t allow that.
Overall I can’t encourage someone above the age of 10 to go to a place like this because there are better vr places that I’ve been too for less and you get to experience more. If you live around the area and have young kids though, this being their first vr place...
