This was the second time using this salon for a pedicure and manicure. My first experience was great. During the COVID pandemic you as a customer want to ensure the business you are entering are taking every health precaution necessary to keep the employees and customers safe. That was what I experienced my first time... Temperature check, self check in, plexiglass surrounding each manicure station and all stations wiped down after each customer. This made me want to return and so I did. But unfortunately I was not given the same level of service and quite frankly felt very unsafe. I made an appointment the day before my service. The manager did not find my appointment in the system, did not take my temperature then told me to proceed to the service chair. There was an employee who was coughing uncontrollably and I began to feel very uneasy. I finally asked the gentleman who was doing my nails, “Is that employee sick”? He said No “He just has a sore throat”. That is sick to me. You can never be too cautious. I was suppose to get a manicure as well and felt so uncomfortable that I left after my pedicure. No manager came up to me to apologize. The only person that did was the gentleman giving me a pedicure. It’s sad that there is not the same level of service every time at this location. I will not be back and now will be going to get...
Read morethe place looked clean. they use jetted tubs for pedicures so questionable sanitation. pedicure: i usually do my own and have them polished but i just moved across the country and didn’t have time. zero cuticle work was done, i was really surprised. i was a licensed nail for 5 years and i mean, that’s the basis of manicuring - grooming. this is one of the things that helps the polish adhere. i have issues with dead skin build up on my sidewalls and that wasn’t touched at all. i was really disappointed bc idc about the massage, i just want my cuticles done. the polish job wasn’t bad, no cleanup tool used. just fingernails and some flooded cuticles.
manicure: i always do a colored acrylic refill. they don’t do acrylic at all. i was going to go somewhere else but i was already at 5 weeks and desperate so i let them do a hard gel refill. she wasn’t bad, she was gentle, didn’t nick me, but they are bumpy in side profile and not very close to the cuticle. the 3rd day looked like 1 week grow out. my top coat is already matte in some areas which shows really bad on the shimmer polish i chose and chipping at the tips; im not harsh on my nails. they’re treated like jewels not tools.
i would come back for my nails if i could get the same girl again if i was really needing them done. there’s potential. but i know i have higher expectations...
Read moreI did not have the best experience here. I was not greeted when I first walked in. After I was finally asked why I was there I was shown to a table. The man doing my nails at first was getting on my nerves because everything I asked for he kept quoting the price. I was like ok I understand, just do what I asked. He did a great job with my nails and I was pleased with the finished product. He also gave a great hand massage. His name was Hao Mai Trans. He is the only reason I would Ever go back. On the other hand my daughter got her nails done as well as my sister. My daughter's nails looked terrible. She did gel and it was so thin it was see through. She complained as did I and her nail tech/ the owner refused to add another coat of paint. She was like there is already 2! And I was like so what it is ugly like that. She also would not let us change the color with out paying another fee. So I did not give her a tip and I will not go there anymore. You don't do that to a kid. My daughter walked away sad and was able to peel it off her nails the same day! She is 13 and was extremely excited to get her nails done and that lady ruined...
