PLEASE READ! Sonic took my money without giving me my orders. Radio silence from this Sonic location going on almost a month this week!
I ordered through the app on July 12th around 6:30pm, under the notion that Sonic was open until 10pm (that's what their hours had said on Google). My order consisted of 5 drinks: 3 Diet Cherry Limeades, 1 Lemonberry Slush, and 1 Sprite. Both my app and the screen told me that my order would be ready shortly. I was okay with waiting; I know what it's like to work customer service, I know what it's like to be slammed with customers. I noticed a few things while waiting: the person in the car next to me had become irate, claiming that he had ordered a while ago and he was still waiting. Then I noticed something else. My app logged me out of the stall I had checked myself into, and the menu had logged me out as well, but it still had said that the red button was activated (because of my app) and that someone would be with me shortly. I pressed the red button to ask about my order. No answer. I heard the drive-thru attendant tell the cars going through drive-thru that they were closing. I saw someone drop cones where the drive-thru was. At that point the car next to me had taken off in a way that told me the driver was still pretty angry (he probably had been in the same position I was in). I pressed the red button again, but ultimately decided to see if I could go inside and ask about my orders. A sign posted on the door revealed two things: 1) do not enter and 2) hours:11am-7pm. I started walking back to my car when another man walks up. He'd been waiting to order for the past thirty minutes. I go back up with him and stare through the window trying to get help. An employee comes out and tells us that it doesn't matter that we've been waiting for such and such a time. They close at 7. She turned away without saying another word, shut the glass door behind us, leaving the man and me upset. I'll blame myself for part of it, as I should have mentioned to her that I had paid already. But I was still pretty disappointed, not just at the customer service or the conflicting information on hours, but at the fact that they were understaffed. There were only three people working during this outpouring of drive-thru and drive-in customers. Had they had more people, some staff could have been working on drive-thru orders and some staff could have been working on...
Read moreI went to this place between 4:30-5pm on Saturday 3/8/2025. I went inside because they said the side order is broken but stood there for awhile, ringing the bell and there was nobody in the front and I see cars coming in from drive through so I pulled around there. There were like 3 cars in front of me. The sign on the drive thru says that their tap and Apple Pay are not working so I didn’t mind using my credit card. I order my food and the car in front of me was waiting for their food after paying for their stuff. A cashier came out from the side door, trying to hand me my drinks and she told me the total. I give her my card and I took my drinks. The reactions were fast and all of a sudden she took my credit card inside for a couple seconds and I was puzzled but I didn’t want to accuse her and the car in front of me pulled away and I pulled up and I see her insert my credit card. I didn’t know she was gonna take my card inside, I could’ve wait and pulled up. Then she give me back my card and my food and I drove off. During that moment I was skeptical but I didn’t think much of it and was trying to be understanding that she was doing her job. 10 mins later, I get a notification that my money is being taken off. $99 and $143 from my credit from shien that I don’t use and that’s how I know that girl stole my information and bought something. And I didn’t use my credit card or shared my information with anyone. I didn’t purchase anything that day or the day before with my credit card. I called my bank and they had to dispute my card and I was able to get my $143 back but I’m still waiting on my $99. It’s just awful that someone can actually do to that to other people. I’m pretty sure that the people that’s were getting food there also got scam so be careful and watch where your cards go, don’t let them take it without seeing the whole process. I hope they get caught and get fired for doing that to people because that’s not okay at all. I normally don’t write reviews but this needed to be said to warn people going there since their machine is broken and their tap is...
Read moreHow can a business be run so god awfully on every level so reliably? The employees they can keep on board don't seem to know where they are or what year it is. The lobby is closed, the drive-thru is one lane and moves every 5-10 minutes. When they finally open the window after 5 minutes, you'll be extremely lucky to get your full meal, or even the correct person's meal.
I do refuse all DoorDash/Uber Eats orders, because after waiting the entire drive thru line, they'll ask you to cancel the order (on behalf of the customer) because they got a computer error and don't know how to resolve it. This was 3 of the 4 attempts I've made delivering from this location. The one that did result in getting food to deliver ended up missing an entire bag of stuff, which I'm willing to bet the customer ended up getting.
We went back today to give them a try after a few months declining orders for this place. Same exact deal, we waited forever. When we got to the order box, they greeted with a long speech. "Hi, we only have two people working right now, so everything's taking a long time. We also don't have a lot of items, so we can't make a lot of the combos..." I asked if she was able to fill my order, she sent me to the window. She finally hands me 3 milkshakes and a bag of food. I check my order, and none of the items matched. Turns out, she handed me the wrong order. She took the order back so she could give it to the correct driver (the order that had been in my car for 5+ minutes!) and informed me once again of a computer error that means the customer simply just can't have their food, end of story.
You have to assume as a business, there are active measures taken not to completely suck all the time. It seems like they're defying all odds to be the absolute worst experience they could possibly be at...
