While we New Yorkers are fortunate to call Broadway ours, Hamptonites are graced to have several fine theatre venues east of the canal. Guild Hall, located in East Hampton, offers an intimate setting for great theatre, art shows, lectures and more. It is very much a part of the community fabric. One performance we attended left here and headed right to Broadway. And because the theatre is intimate, we were thrilled to note the many directors, producers and actors sitting in the audience who also came to enjoy a night out and see their friend's and favorites perform. I had to sit on my hands to keep myself from autograph begging as they too deserve a night out with family unencumbered by fans. However, she generously invited us to sit in an overflow room and watch the proceedings on a screen. The room was comfortable and the air was mold free. Perhaps the decision to keep the unclaimed tickets stemmed from the people sparring to get these tickets, or maybe to hold the unclaimed tickets for late comers. It all worked out. Smart guests on stage, both well versed in constitutional law. I like discussions about our constitution, especially with legal scholars. Staff were pleasant. Now that Guild Hall has live streaming from the MET Definitely...
