Been coming here for years. It’s gone downhill. Upon arrival, the host attempted to seat us at a table quite literally almost inside the kitchen. I asked for another table and they did accommodate. Upon sitting down, I realized the table behind us had a young girl watching a movie on her iPad which was screaming in my ear. Moving onto the food, the calamari was OK. We ordered a bottle of red and it came warm. All wines should be slightly chilled. The server always got us what we asked for but it took a while to track him down and we had to remind him. We also had to ask for bread. Another group came in and the host tried to sit them at the table on top of the kitchen and they also refused it. Why doesn’t the restaurant just NOT SIT customers here? The steaks were decent but nothing to write home about. They advertise a “crusted blue cheese” option to the filet mignon on their menu. The waiter was nice and told us that blue cheese simply comes on the side. The waiter was also candid in that their 7oz wagyu fillet wasn’t “fully” a wagyu - rather a hybrid wagyu. Whatever that means… all in all I’m at least thankful for our honest waiter. Will probably not come back and am a little...
Read moreMy wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary at The Palm East Hampton, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and an ambiance that was both elegant and romantic.
The service was impeccable—our server, Elizabeth, anticipated every need, ensuring that our evening felt truly special. The attention to detail was remarkable, making us feel like VIPs throughout the night.
As for the food, it was absolutely phenomenal. Started with the calamari fritto and ended with the Porter House for two. Every dish was perfectly prepared, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. From the first bite to the last, we were completely delighted. Can’t forget the delicious house made tiramisu!
If you’re looking for a restaurant that delivers an exceptional dining experience with outstanding service, a romantic atmosphere, and unforgettable cuisine, The Palm East Hampton is the place to be. We couldn’t have chosen a better spot for such a...
Read moreSadly things have changed. A Longtime family favorite for a dependably delicious meal and charming ambiance, The Palm EH seems to be going downhill quickly. Our last two visits for dinner have left us confused and very disappointed as to what is happening to this special landmark restaurant and hotel. Starting with the renovation which has robbed all the charm and character from the bar, fireplace room and even the lobby. It looks like a Marriott, with cheap furniture. So very sad to loose the special feeling of sitting in those rooms drinking a cocktail or a glass of wine. It now feels like you could be anywhere -nothing special. The service is good, however the food is very average. Several of our steaks were not cooked to order and all in our group agreed but ate them anyway so as not to hold up the dinner. With so many other local restaurants to choose from, and the lack of ambience at the bar, we won’t be coming back...
