For Brick and Mortar dealers, my preference hands down is for Acetool out on Long Island in Wantagh. In addition to Festool, they stock a full line of other brands. There are other Festool dealers that are closer to my house which I am sometimes forced to go to because of proximity for last minute accessory runs, but for all planned purchases I will make the 45 minute drive out to Wantagh. Unlike some of the new Festool dealers that have come online in the past couples of years in New York City, where the employees seem to have minimal training with the tools, the guys at Acetool really know their stuff. That goes not just for the overall product info, but extends to troubleshooting and specific applications. Their knowledge and experience also extends to the full range of brands they carry besides Festool. They give impartial advice on the best tool for the job, even when that means buying something less expensive. Recent Edit: I disputed the undelivered items with my creditor, they sent an edited document showing successful delivery to try and keep my funds, I submitted all emails and correspondence to include call logs, recorded call with their warehouse manager saying they do in fact have the items, and tracking/screenshots.
I had ordered tools online and had emailed ace tool on multiple of their email addresses to ensure that they knew how to send lithium overseas, they claimed they did, and clearly, it was kicked back. Ok, it happens, but they began ignoring emails, hung up calls, and altogether ceased communication. This bait and switch and shady online practices of not honoring their posted refund and return policy is a bit shameful.
Edit: I happened to be home on leave, and offered to stop by and personally pick up my items, the lady at the warehouse for online orders was very professional and sweet, but when I went to the store, where I was told they sent my tools for pickup, they were not there and the clerk didn't offer any solution. I just went to good ole THD and got the tools for cheaper...

Brought in two power tools for repair. Each had the same problem. Three weeks later we get the call to come and retrieve our tools… $275.00 for each repair and they never quoted a price to us before the repair.. Keep the tools for that price, I said! Next came the discounted price offer. Said I’d think about it……. Nothing to think about the replacement parts cost $50 bucks each on Amazon. And take approximately two minutes to install! I know, because I took the broken part off of each tool…
Find anyplace other than Ace to repair your power tools… There just taking advantage of the Average...
