Horrible theives!!!!! Be very careful for the guy who reads the charges to the cashier by the door. My friends and I shopped there on separate occasions and the same guy (big tall guy with a mustashe/beard) did the same thing to my friends and I on both separate occasions).

What he did was that he read an extra charge ($24.99 to me) & ($39.99 on my friends transaction) and then proceeded to rip the hand written receipt off the repotted planted items. It didn't occur to us immediately because we shopped there many times before. But this time, we thought back and checked the receipts and recalled the charges that was explained to us by the girl who repacked the plants and we fully understood why he did that so willingly and so smoothly... Stupidly on both separate occasions we left and realized when we checked the receipts afterwards that there was one huge extra charge more than the items we've purchased but the tag was ripped off and we couldn't go back to dispute it. WARNING!!! Be careful and BE ALERT that this same guy has MOST LIKELY done the same thing to many others before and that's why it was DONE so SMOOTHLY...

Therefore, I suggest every shopper to review their charges to reconfirm it during checkout so they don't sneak in any extra charges that doesn't...

I just had the most horrible experience with Dees nursery. I purchased 11 trees from them this week and ordered them for delivery of my house. One of the trees in my order got mixed up, which is understandable. I called and respectfully let them know that they sent me the wrong tree, hoping to come to a resolution. TOM called me back, and immediately had a horrible nasty tone, blaming me for his mistake. He said that I chose the tree (which i did not choose) and that his employees said that i said things i did not say. He cut me off, didnt let me finish a sentence, and threatened to hang up on me when i was processing what he said. I have never dealt with such awful customer service. Cannot recommend. Also, the woman who checked me out was rude, and i am left with a really bad feeling after making such a large investment with...

Dee's is just the best! It is an Oceanside institution!! I've been coming here with my mom since I was a kid and now I am bringing my own kids here. Today we came for the scavenger hunt they had for St Patrick's Day and they also let my girls plant little seeds in a pot. The activities were totally complimentary and the store is so beautifully decorated for the season and each holiday, it's always a vibe. I see some reviews that the pricing isn't cheap, but the plants are very well cared for and in excellent condition compared to anything I have seen elsewhere... You get what you pay for. They also have pony rides at some point during the year and for Easter we will be back for their Bunny Brunch, which we are looking very much forward to for pics with the Easter Bunny and the egg hunt.
