Karma Events — Attraction in Town of Hempstead

Amee was such a joy to work with for re-planning our wedding for the third time - a destination wedding in Cancun! She was so sweet and diligent - and always had suggestions for how to make our dream day work within our budget. She was always a text or phone-call away the whole year, and would give us great reccs on how to negotiate better with vendors, alternatives for our vision when vendor catalog were lacking, and was really proactive in chasing vendors down herself when we were hitting a wall. She even came with us on our site visit and that's when I realized she truly is a badass - immediately calling out vendors on low-quality food items and ensuring everything was at a high bar. On the weekend of the wedding, her and her team managed every issue big or small without complaint and corralled our family with updates and fixes, and managed to keep us well-fed and watered the whole time. All three of them were all hands on deck, making sure even all the little things we asked for were delivered, like ensuring personalized gift bags went to the right rooms, bringing items from NYC, and re-working decor against all the elements (wind, rain and no ceremonial fire) - just to name a few of the things they did while running around to make sure everything was perfect. I'm not sure what I say will encompass how truly thankful and overjoyed I am that they were able to be our wedding planners. Our event was perfect in every way and it ended up being something out of our dreams, and we have you all to thank for that.

Karen - you are such a gem. You have worked so hard to bring to us everything we imagined for that day and you worked to keep me on track so as to not fall behind with this reception amongst the million things I had to do in life. The day of, you felt like an older sister looking out for me from carrying my overweight dress to making sure I was stress free to ensuring everything ran smoothly to making sure we were fed and happy. How do I thank you in words for all the joy you brought us that day? You are so good at what you do and we are so happy to have had you for our special day. On top of being professional, you are simply just kind, caring, and compassionate - something that every bride needs in her journey.

Karen helped to keep us organized with a template and stayed on top of me to make sure berthing was getting done. They were also helpful with suggestions on how we should do things to make everything run more smoothly. Our event was a major success with our guests.

Amee from Karma Events was highly recommended by my best friend from College. I met her at her (friend's) wedding. I knew Amee was the right point person for us. She is matter of fact, organized, easy to reach and HONEST! HONESTY is so important during the planning and execution phase. Indian weddings have a lot of moving parts and then there is always the opinion of families. She makes sure to prioritize YOU (the couple) and does it seamlessly. She has a knack for looking ahead and fixing any unforeseen issues. I found Amee and her team to be useful for her partial package services. I met the rest of her team during the festivities and there was always someone with me and the groom. She made sure to cater to my crazy family and I don't know how she did it but we stuck to the timeline! I know, its unheard of. She also made sure we ate lunch and dinner and able to have a moment as a couple post marriage ceremony. Her team is kind, fun and so professional. Marcus was babysitting me while everyone was at the Baraat and I was hiding. He made sure I had water, my lipstick stayed on point and gave me the biggest pep talk I needed before my entrance!
