EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. Decided to go to Moolala in Merrick today, 6/20/24. 1st day of summer for year, extremely warm day, perfect what a ice cream or frozen yogurt. The entire store was a disgrace. The store was empty, so it's not like the employees were busy. Toppings all over the floor, Floor was sticky, several machines were down, the ones the were working were extremely messy, and the spoons for the toppings were all cross contaminated with other toppings and sticky as well. Extremely turned off and almost lost my appetite. I should have walked out then and there, but I still decided to get a dessert and when I paid, their rewards computer was down AAANNNND the credit card automatically asks you for a tip. A tip for a unclean, machine out of Service , and SELF SERV yogurt you have the audacity to ask for a tip! I've been coming here as a Merrick resident since they opened, and this was my last time there. What a shame
*I'm editing and adding to my review 6/21/24. I Received a generic answer from owner stating "they're sorry and it would be taken care of immediately". I'd love to believe this, but in the past YEAR, pretty much every single negative review has the exact or very similar answer. Nothing changed from bad reviews a year ago, nothing will change going forward. At least the copy/paste feature works on their end. Seems like they're just trying to maintain a positive vibe on Google without actually taking action. Actions speak louder than words, and reading these reviews and experiencing for...

I started making a cup and got over to the toppings. When I put the strawberries on I tried one (after I put it on my yogurt) because I love strawberries And just really wanted one. When I tried the strawberry it tasted awful, but I had already put them all over my yogurt so I threw it away because I didn’t want it anymore. I started making another thing of yogurt and let them know the strawberries were bad. I went over to the toppings and a worker asked me where my other yogurt was and I told her that I threw it away because the strawberries were bad. She then proceeded to take the yogurt out of the garbage and her and the person in charge (supervisor maybe) forced me to pay for 2 of them. Me being 11 years old (and not with an adult, I was in middle school) got scared that they were yelling at me, so of course I paid for both of them. I’m 21 now. I don’t remember what their yogurt taste like so I’m not rating that. I just wanted to share...
Read moreWhat would you think of a place to which you walk in and the employees are sitting on the countertop chatting with some friends. They didn’t even acknowledge that we were there and didn’t even greet us. I stayed only because the daughter was craving it. A few minutes after a gentleman walked in and he experienced a similar situation. He wasn’t acknowledged but he ended up walking out. The funniest part was that the two employees didn’t even realized he has walked in. If this place has a manager, I will suggest a better oversight else I do not think that it will be there for long. Is a shame my daughter didn’t let me take a picture else you would be seeing an embarrassing picture of two employees sitting on...
