Sunlight Nails Inc — Attraction in Town of Hempstead

I was trying to find a place to get my nails done and it was late and this place was open which was awesome. So I went in and was happily greeted and sat down for my manicure and pedicure which I had done at the same time, which is kind of annoying but I didn't mind because I wanted to get out of there fast. All in all my nails and toes came out awesome, however they do try and push services on you. They also charged me $2 because of the nail polish that I chose. That is why I took off the one star. I never had to do that for any other nail salon I had gone to. The woman who did my pedicure had amazing hands and I would definitely recommend her for massages. I don't know her name though. And the manager was very nice and helpful. I would definitely go back to this place again but be more firm about saying no to the add-ons. It definitely was a very relaxing...

Kathy the owner is such a kind sweet person!! My friend and I came in around 6pm as a walk in (last minute plans for a girls night and getting our nails done) and asked if both of us could get dip powder manicures. Truthfully we were nervous because another place we were told no and had to leave because the wait was too long but Kathy said of course no problem here’s the book take your time pick your colors. She took her time and my nails look amazing I work on an ambulance so I like a thicker dip powder so it doesn’t chip as quickly and I am so happy with the results! She even brought over a chair so my friend could sit and we could talk while she did my nails! I promise we will be back Kathy! I cannot recommend this...

I have lived in the area for 2 years now, and still struggled with finding a decent consistent nail salon. On a Saturday morning, I called Sunlight to see if they could take me for a gel manicure. They told me to come right in. I was greeted so kindly when I walked in and was given a seat and the color swatches. Kathy introduced herself and helped me pick a gel color that was similar to my favorite "WICKED." The salon is so relaxing and Kathy gives a beautiful manicure. She shaped my ugly nails and made them feel pretty again. After seeing her manicure work I asked if she'd wax my eyebrows. She cleaned them up nicely and was so gentle. This is my new spot! So happy I found Kathy! You won't regret...
