The nightmare on Long Island.... Where to start? Buying tickets is pathetic not to mention communication with SeatGeek! Why they don't recommend buying parking at THIS point only God knows. When chosing parking on the day of the event, it doesn't automatically tell you how many available slots there are in each parking area...we found out when trying each area. The price online for Emerald parking was FAR higher than what we actually paid. Thank God we took a picture of the Emerald-D6 parking area sign where we actually parked, though some informative signs to help guide would have been helpful. Additional lighting and color-coded for each section would help tremendously. Thankfully there are the shuttle buses....and they're FREE! Better planning of picking up and dropping off fans is needed...not to mention FAR BETTER queing of fans at pick-up points. Read moreAccessing the lot from CIP is not bad. There is a covered walkway if you elect to do the walk. We opted for the shuttle because it was raining - only waited a few minutes but could see this getting congested quickly. Leaving was easy because we left before end of game. Be careful merging into CIP North as there really is no merge lane you’re dropped right onto the parkway and have to accelerate super fast. Three stars because this whole setup...
Read moreWent to the Islanders game 12/4/22 and chose the emerald parking which to me was a little overpriced of $30+ since it’s not near the arena and you have to walk to the arena and back to the parking lot if you don’t want to wait for the shuttle bus service that gets extremely packed after the game which results in long wait time, but it’s convenient since it’s right off the belt parkway and getting out of the parking lot...
