The Next Chapter — Attraction in Town of Huntington

Rarely do I find the need to write a review for something, so when I do, it's an extreme opinion. And I'm glad to say that this is an extremely positive review, and that this place is the most awesome book store I've ever been to!

The staff is super amazing. They hand write reviews of novels they've read and put it on display. I came over during a concert they held in the back by their clearance book section, which was also amazing in its own rite. The prices are amazing, the selection is amazing, the people are amazing, everything about this place is amazing!

It was worth the ~45 minute trip out of the city and I'd 100 percent get there again. I got so much bang for my buck here and so many amazing and helpful books that were amazing. If you haven't been here and you're on the fence - take the trip. One of the best book stores out there, period, better than the strand imho. Amazing, amazing, amazing. We were really impressed with how big it is inside. If you were to take the old place and omit the second floor, which was more of balcony the first floor footprint, it is close to the same size. Plus, they are currently renovating an entire area in the back for lectures and future book signings. It looks be a massive room with a long hallway for lines. Everyone is very nice and very helpful. Wish there were a few more places to sit and add some tables for those who want to bring their computer to look stuff up or meet up with a friend. Also, a couch in the front window with soft lighting, the way Sag Harbor Books has, would make it feel more inviting from the outside. I called a few days ago to see if they had a book that I wanted and the woman who answered the phone was so kind and checked for me, only to see that they didn’t. No worries, I figured that was that. But then she offered to order it for me completely free of charge, which in this day and age is definitely not the norm and was so appreciated. They called again yesterday to let me know the book had come in and they would hold it for me for a week. I just picked it up and can’t wait to start reading it. I am so happy that this bookstore is so close to where I live and they are not only well-stocked but are so kind and accommodating.
