Wildwest Western Town — Attraction in Town of Lake George

riding here has always been a very pleasant experience. horses are EXTREMELY well-behaved, appear to be very well cared for, healthy and happy. there is a sign near the mounting pen that reads: "kiss your horse, and tip your trail guide" i think it should read:"tip your horse and kiss the trail guide", myself (note to the ladies: these cowboys are HOT!). they (the guides) are always pleasant, know the trails well, are reassuring, and good natured. in general, they are good company to ride with. trails are BEAUTIFUL.; some incline/decline, crossing small streams. paths are wide and well groomed. this is a very relaxing place to ride, and de-stress. they also have picnic tables located near the western style themed gift shops. my friend michele and i prepare lunches in advance and relax at these tables after hitting the trails, before heading back. we LOVE coming here...UNTIL!! today... we arrived only to find the main gate closed and locked. we managed to find their number to call...right outside the gate...only to learn they were CLOSED. not just for today.., but for THE ENTIRE YEAR??? people, please UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE!! we were so looking forward to riding here again; never complained or thought twice about the hour ride to and from....WE MISS YOU . just hoping all is okay with everyone there and they will be a functional operative...

A surprise 20th b'day luncheon for my daughter at the Wild West was a success & such a fun experience! Working with the chef, Michael was 100% positive- he listened, paid attention to all of my requests and every detail. The hearty vegetable barley (most delicious) and french onion soups ,green leafy salad & baskets of bread were a hit w/ our 25 guests! Our waitress,Jenny was friendly & attentive. An awesome venue, lg. dining area and outdoor scenery made our celebration one...

Another great night at the Wild Horse Restaurant. My family and I were there last Sunday and we went back again lastnight. It is a great place. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is inviting. They had live music and dancing. They also had a Bon fire going in the backyard. My son and I had the brisket sandwich which was amazing, my husband had the 1/2 rack of ribs which were delicious and my daughter had the chicken sandwich that was perfectly done. We love...
