⚠️THIS PLACE HAS BEDBUGS!!!⚠️ Stay at your own risk My sister booked this place via booking.com. I arrived about an hour ahead of her and I checked the beds but from my angle I just missed the clusters and didn't pull back the seams of the mattress enough. My sister got there and found the mattress she was going to sleep on was infested with them. We were both so skeeved out! I had all my stuff in the room! I had to quarantine all my belongings, and we spent hours that day leaving this motel and finding a new one that we could book without spending an additional hundreds of dollars. Not very fun when you're supposed to be on vacation. We also slept terrible just out of fear of the bugs When we told the front desk, we showed them photos and videos we took of the bedbugs. They seemed completely unfazed and didn't say anything. They told us we would have to reach out to booking.com first to get our money back. That was a whole ordeal but I finally got a person on the phone, and they were just as horrified as we were. They contacted this motel and as far as I know, they never responded to tell them how they are going to resolve this issue! Bedbugs are a huge threat to the health and safety of their guests. I would think they would be more concerned! We also told a neighboring family we found the bugs, and my sister checked their room for them. Luckily, their beds were bug free. But it's hard to enjoy your vacation when you're scared of bringing an infestation home. Aside from the bugs, there were lots of red flags here. The carpet was stained, a light was out in the corner closet area, the TV was old, and the back of it had a thick layer of dust and cobwebs. Clearly no one cleans back there but all the HDMI cables were unplugged and I had to plug them in. The corners of the window sill had dead bugs and spiders, and the screens were damaged. Surfaces had random stains like paint and pen. The ceiling of the bathroom had several patches of black stuff that could be mold or other dirt. The sink and tub metals are old looking. Oh, and we also had no hand soap? We just had 5 bottles of shampoo so I guess we were meant to use that to wash our hands. Most of this stuff wouldn't be a huge problem for me. After finding the bedbugs I had to recontexulize all of the rest. It's clear they just don't care enough about keeping these rooms spotless and safe for their guests.

I'm not sure where to even start. The 1 queen bed room is tiny , very tiny. Pretty much a bed with walls around it with a small bathroom. The double queen room had a very strong musty odour , it's carpeted and you can only imagine how dirty it is. Bathroom was also gross with a glob of hair left in the corner, clearly the "maid service" is a very basic tidy of the room that is probably done in minutes. Beds were also at the same level. Old and very cheap feeling. The whole place just felt gross and unclean The suite was a decent layout but had plenty of broken things such as lamps and towel holders just left there in attached to a wall. The "kitchenette" is nothing more than a small counter with a sink and microwave... The room also felt dirty, the toilet also barely worked. The view out of the back patio was nice though . Every question we had about an amenity we paid for was met with , unfortunately it was broken/not working. Wifi. Not working whatsoever. "Rumble dryer" broken Sauna. Broken and disgusting Indoor pool . Tiny and murky , is about 14"wide ,when you cannot see the bottom of a pool that small there is a problem with water quality. The indoor hottub was filled with brown/yellow water that looked disgusting Overall the indoor pool facilities were unsuable. The manager was not present then entire time we were there and therefore could not speak to him. The woman left in charge was nice and did what she could but the whole place was just so run down. It's frustrating paying for amenities that are just non existent or broken all together However the outdoor pool was nice , could have been cleaner but overall was nice with a great view of the mountains , the outdoor hottub was unfilled and clearly broken for a long time. The park though was great ,lots of obstacles for the kids to play on , although it could use some repairs it was nice and a highlight. Compared to alot of the motels in the area it offered alot but the majority of the things offered fell very short. Do not trust the pictures online...

First and last time staying here. Celebrated my sons 10th bday here in room 34 fits family of 6.Sheets was dirty yellow stains all underneath quilt.Lack of towels and towels that are their are so thin dont even do the job of drying you smh.Dust bunnies all around the room, hair on lamp yukkkk.Very out dated.Pool is freezing not heated pool my kids lasted less then 20 mins which sucked had to pull them rite out cause was too cold then to walk across to the room outside and was also cold brrrrr. Most indoor pools now are heated I figured this one would b I was so wrong.Do not get me started on arcade no games work they just eat your money only thing that works is pool table and the car game not even foosball table had balls to play .Do not expect anything else to work also the arcade is outside in a garage so its again cold depending on time of year.Oh and they show this really nice park my daughter was dying to play at and they had it closed covered up like nothing works at this place false advertisement at this point all we could do was laugh it off like wow what did we get ourselves into we know better next time.Only 3 good things was jacuzzi actually worked, the owner is a nice person and the fact no other people was staying on that property we had the whole place to ourselves hmm wonder why so since we had booked for 2 days 10/3-10/5 my family and I made the best if it and said for future their are plenty of other places we can try here at lake george we love it up here and try and come twice a year but normally stay at great escape indoor lodge but have stood at few other local spots.

I have never had to stay in a place as disgusting as this. If I could give 0 stars, I would in a heartbeat. We checked in around 5:30 pm after spending a day doing excursions. There were multiple spiders and other bugs, dust everywhere, hairs and stains on the sheets, hairs in the drain, empty wrappers, stains on the faucets, plumbing that leaks used water to the floor every time you wash your hands, etc. We went back to the check in desk and told them about the condition of our room. Apparently, the worker at the front desk is the owner’s son. He told us they have no other room availability and he saw the cleaning lady at our room this morning. There was nothing else he said or was willing to do. My family and I ran to the dollar general nearby and bought cleaning supplies. We spent the next hour cleaning the room, putting our own sheets on the bed, etc. The manager- who is apparently the owner and there is no actual manager- was supposed to meet us at 9 am the next morning. We waited for several minutes and he showed up to the front desk looking surprised to see us. As I yet again began explaining the condition of our room, another customer came in and he went to help her mid-conversation. She had some complaints, so he asked her to go outside with him. At this point, we all went outside because I also was trying to voice my concerns and this was unprofessional of him. She reported hair in the drain, a clogged drain so they couldn’t shower, blood on the sheets, etc. I jumped in and explained my situation as well. The owner essentially blamed us for not bringing it to his attention earlier—even though we reported this to his staff within minutes of checking in. He raised his voice numerous times and kept trying to pass us off to his Housekeeping colleague (bless her soul for everything she puts up with). She clearly told us that there is nothing she’s able to do for us in her position and that it would be up to the owner. The owner refused to listen to us, refund us, or do anything about this experience. He stated that since I booked through Expedia he couldn’t do anything- although I paid there in person with my credit card. He even demanded the key from me to check me out, while all our stuff was still in the room and we hadn’t packed up yet. This owner was inappropriate, disrespectful, and unprofessional. This hotel room was disgusting, unclean, and very concerning during a pandemic. There was no cleaning/disinfecting done in our room prior to our arrival. That all being said, the next morning, we saw that there are actual children who are working there (younger than 14, but we did not ask their age). They claim to be helping their “Auntie,” but they are doing actual labor. This is another huge concern, and we plan on reporting this business. I do not recommend staying here. I am appalled at any positive reviews, as clearly anyone who thinks this place is “clean” has impeccably low standards. Do not come...
