Lyn Aire Motel Lake George — Hotel in Town of Lake George

On aug 15, 2025, We booked a king and queen suite to sleep 5 people and (thought) had sofa. When arrived, it did not so I asked how does it fit 5 people? They told me 3 people in a king bed. Really, 3 grown siblings in one bed? That's not happeneng!! So we asked about a cot and was told they dont have those. I asked if we could have a pillow and extra blanket so my son could sleep on floor. I was told no because he would get in trouble. What? He said he already called his manager for a question and didn't want to get in trouble but said I could call her!! So i guess Guests couldnt have an extra blanket or pillow OR we have to call the manager at home ourselves?!! He said we could just get a second room and he had one left for 108. I said I'd let him know shortly. My husband called back within half hour and said fine we will take it. After checking out and I received the printout. We were charged 208. When I complained to the desk, she said they should have given me the extra bedding but the boy was new. I said it's no excuse and if I wanted to spend almost 450 for 1 night I would have went to a nicer place or to the great escape water park hotel. I only asked to be reimbursed the $100 that I was over charged and She said she understood and would take my information and have the manager call me as she would have to do that. No call. I called her back later that day, the next day, 2 weeks and then 6 weeks later.... it is now october... I have not had one return call. The rooms were ok but definitely need some work. The AC in one room shot a spark and smoked when it was turned on. Its too bad as I had higher expectations as it looked like it would be a cute place for my grandchild with the pool...

OLD SMELLY ROOMS. GROUNDS OK BUT OLD. it cost 441.00 dollars for 2 night stay at this motel. Handicap room. It was smelly. I found behind the end table. 2 cartons of kids milk. The room was old.smelly. it was not really handicap room. What they consider a H.P. ROOM is bars in the tub.

I asked the manager for another room. Didn't have any!!!She said she would see if one of there sister motels had a room. Few hours later. Now we are settled in the smelly room. She never said she give our money back!!!She said the quality inn had two rooms and gave me the prices... Omg I said forget we will stay.

They told us the reason why it smelled is because a family stay for 1 week in the room...I am thinking so they couldn't of smelled how bad the room was when they were cleaning it???? The manager put a machine in the room to clear the air but we couldn't be in the room.ok lets try it!! It still smelled but again she never said we can refund your money so you can find another place.. I recommend not staying at this motel..

I have never stayed at a motel, only because you think of motels as these horrible outdated places to stay on a whim. I have to say that this place totally changed my mind about motels. It was clean, had great amenities for families, and the staff is very friendly and knowledge about the activities in the area. This is a plus to us because we have never been there.

My kids loved the pool with a waterslide, the free ping pong tables and air hockey. The playground was a delight to keep the kids busy and my son loved that there was a basketball court. I loved that they have grills for you to use and the nearest grocery store is 10 minutes away. It was like Camping but staying in a motel.

The only thing that would've made our stay even more awesome was a fire pit to roast some smores with the kids. But I understand you cant have it all.

Overall give this place a chance when visiting Lake George. You will be hooked when you get to have your coffee in the morning under a covered patio outside your door hearing nature and watching humming birds and other birds of the mountains. It was a great break. My husband and I want to...
