Big Apple Music — Attraction in Town of New Hartford

The selection of guitars in this shop is decent. Their prices are a little higher than online shops, but if you're local and you're picking up your guitar, it's not that bad. Service was mixed; the gentleman helping me and my sister pick out some fairly costly guitars was very helpful, but a single employee, being very pushy about buying my guitar on layaway or a credit card, lessened the experience of playing the soon-to-be-mine telecaster for the first time. They offer a layaway program that is very helpful to those who may not have all the cash right away.

If you're local and are looking to play around with a few instruments and test the waters of what's out there, give this place a shot. I can't remember the name of the guy that was helpful in my purchases, but stay away from "The Shark," or whatever they call...

I have not experienced such good customer service like this in decades.

Found a beautiful guitar on eBay that was being sold by Big Apple Music. Instead of going back and forth to ask specific questions I had, I decided to give the store a call.

Spoke with Mark 3 (works in drums) and he looked for the guitar but couldn’t find it. He told me the owner and his son (Mark 1 and 2) weren’t in and attempted to reach out to them about the status of the guitar.

Mark 1 (owner) called me right back, gave me a great rundown of the product, sold it to me at a more than fair price and was just an overall professional.

This is why America needs Mom and Pop stores and not tons of chains or Amazon taking over. I felt welcomed and I felt my business was appreciated.

I needed the screen replaced on my 2018 Dodge Challenger. I had called around for a few estimates and Big Apple was by far the best. Other places wanted to replace my whole radio and charge me over $2,500. Big Apple allowed me to purchase my own screen and then they would install it. This was able to cut costs down and just replace the screen and not the entire radio. This saved me around $2,200!!!!! I was able to book an appointment and got right in and all of the service was top-notch. My radio functions like new and I could not be happier. Big Apple is the best I highly recommend them...
