Bowl Boss Acai — Restaurant in Town of New Hartford

I usually go here and have been for about 3 years now, however this summer has been different in terms of services. To start, my large bowls and medium bowls have been getting skimped, started out by getting full bowls of açaí, and leading to them now putting a quarter size of acai and mostly toppings. One time I had called about an issue I had with my order and was mislead by the workers, my wife was then approached in the business and was demanded to take down a post that I had made about it, in front of both customers and employees however there wasn't any reason for her nor myself to take down the experience we had, being that it was true and we hadn't had the opportunity to have a proper conversation about it nor compensated for the issue. I don't appreciate my wife being approached that way, especially with the childishness of the employees to read my wife's name on the tag and run to get their manager as well as the manager then coming out and not having the decency to at least pull my wife aside and have a private...

I used to love it here however tonight I took my mom for first time. I ordered a bowl with extra notella on it and EXTRA EXTRA x3 on side. I was given no notella on bowl and a tiny plastic cup filled a third of the way. When I pointed out my order was wrong they refused to make it right and wanted to charge me for more product even though they made it wrong. I was shocked. I was very nice about asking for what I’d already ordered and paid for and loved going here but was made to feel so embarrassed for wanting what I’d ordered and demanded to pay more money for a little sauce I will never go back. I’ve been to a few açaí cafes from central New York to the capital region and Saratoga county. Soul Bowl is without a doubt the BEST. Their açaí base is pure and not blended with other ingredients or watered down like the other cafes. The fruit is always fresh and never mushy. The staff is very knowledgeable of their products and enjoy what they do! The cafe inside is bright and beautifully decorated and they even have cool t-shirts and hoodies that you can buy.
