Bodily Charm Tattoo & Piercing — Attraction in Town of New Hartford

Got a bridge piercing done here that wasn’t pierced properly and ended up rejecting. I called to ask why there was extra skin growth and instead of being helpful the younger assistant woman said to me on the phone “it’s your fault because you’re not taking care of it” and so I used extra saline rinses thinking that would help. All that did was dry out and burn the skin around the piercing.

Edit: the owner is claiming it wasn't pierced improperly but it was too close to the surface, sorry to break it to ya :P and not only that but she put a curved barbell when bridge is supposed to have straight bar. There's also no "polyp" information in the website's aftercare page. It's not an easy piercing to do and wasn't super popular at the time I got it, so no hate. This place could be good to get your lobes done or something. Just laying...

I got my cartilage pierced about a week ago at Claires in the mall, foolish I know. So this past Friday, about 6 days after the piercing, my ear started to swell, get red and warm to the touch. I contacted Betty at Bodily Charm today (Monday) and she was willing to have Leo look at my ear even though her shop didn't do the piercing. Also they were willing to do it on a day they're closed, simply because they're worried about my health and wanting the best possible outcome for my piercing! What an awesome customer experience!!! I couldn't be happier with the quick service, care, and experience, let alone awesome personalities they seem to have! I can't wait to discuss my next tattoo idea with them as well!!! :) I highly recommend...

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! I got both of my lobes pierced, followed their aftercare instructions exactly as they were written, and somehow theres something wrong with both of them. How do you mess up a lobe piercing? Anyways, I tried to visit them in person so they could take a look at my piercings and assess the situation. Pulled up to the place at 3pm, a FULL HOUR after their hours state they are supposed to be open, only to find the place was closed. Sign said "2pm-ish to 8pm-ish"??? I understand being a small business and whatnot, but that is just incredibly unprofessional.
