CosmetiFX — Attraction in Town of North Hempstead

I took a 3 Day Training course with Carrie that covered micro-blading, nano strokes and shading. I'm a licensed cosmetologist and experienced lash artist so I've taken my fair share of classes which have all felt very transactional. My previous classes always seemed as if they're very caring when they're promoting it online but when you take the class it's a very different and distant experience leaving you unsure of what you're doing.

BUTShe made our class very personal and you can see and feel that she genuinely wants to see you succeed. I've been wanting to get into the PMU space for a while and have had very mediocre experiences with other classes that just never gave me enough support or confidence in actually getting started to offer the services.

Carrie is one of the most caring and knowledgeable instructors I've gotten the pleasure to take a class with!! Her kit is one of the best I've ever gotten. She made sure I am prepared and stocked with only the best products and things that she personally uses to ensure that you're stocked with quality product and ready and comfortable in starting a PMU journey. After every segment she stopped to make sure I was understanding the content and provided alternative explanations if I was confused about something. During hands-on practice she took note in how I was progressing or regressing and provided me with clear, concise and respectful feedback on how I would be able to improve. She constantly encouraged me and helped me every step of the way by paying close attention to my progress rather than what I was making mistakes on. Her methods really helped with confidently making improvements.

I'm only scratching the surface with this review (no pun intended), there's so much more amazing things I could talk about but you need to take her class to truly get the full experience. I truly enjoyed my time and I'm so excited to start my PMU journey. 10/10 highly...

When I tell you that this experience was completely life-changing, I mean it, in the best way possible! I was thinking about getting my eyebrows microbladed since 2010 when I was in college and microblading started to really become popular, but I was always afraid of the pain and how really bad some eyebrow tattoos looked on people so I kept putting it off.

Thankfully, after doing some research and finally getting enough courage to try it, I found Carrie / Cosmetifx through IG, and she had so many amazing reviews, including Asian women with similar brows as mine, so I felt confident trusting her.

Carrie is a true perfectionist, as she went above and beyond to make my brows look exactly as I was hoping they would be. They also healed beautifully, and her aftercare instructions were so detailed and helpful that my color retention after 8 weeks was really good; she barely had to touch up my brows when I came back in for my touch up :)

The pain was minimal, maybe 4/10 maximum, because she really uses proper numbing cream and lets it sit and kick in before doing any work. She also is extremely patient and easy to talk to during the process and answers any questions you might have regarding microblading.

The location is also extremely convenient, just a short drive from NYC, with plenty of free street parking and a free parking lot on the next block over.

If you’ve been looking to get your dream brows, Carrie is the person to go to and I truly would not recommend anyone else!! I am 10000% satisfied with the entire experience and would definitely go back for other services such as lip blush :)

I will start off by saying I have gotten work done from both Carrie and Claudia! Both are amazing women in their industries.

Claudia is a lash queen! I love seeing her but my work schedule makes it more difficult to see her but every single time, I’ve vaguely explained what I wanted and Claudia has delivered every single time. Claudia truly knows how to make your lashes pop with your eye shape and lifestyle!

Now onto the brows and Carrie! Two years ago, I was contemplating getting my brows done and very scared and anxious about the whole process. After several recommendations from people, I decided to check out Carrie. From the beginning, Carrie was transparent and very open. I finally made an appointment and as soon as I met Carrie, my stress melted away. She is super outgoing and friendly and doesn’t make you feel stupid for asking questions. She explains every step and checks in on you throughout the procedure. She makes sure you are comfortable and at ease. She was so amazing the first time around, I had no questions when I booked her for my 2 year touch up. Carrie definitely makes everything easy and now I have new brows again! Would definitely strongly recommend her for all she offers.
