Ridder's Pond Park — Attraction in Town of North Hempstead

Although the park is still useful it is in need of a face lift. Still a safe place to bring the younger kids and there is an up to date swing set that has all of the safety features needed to prevent injuries. Plenty of benches around the walkway around the pond. Small, it was dark out so didn't see much, lots of flying bugs like Nats, mosquitos and such very annoying. Folks using it as a track for exercise but the path which is a circle (5 complete laps equals a mile prob) is narrow so you can't walk with someone side by side because it takes the whole path.
