Smashburger — Restaurant in Town of North Hempstead

I eat here a decent amount. I've everything from the classic smash burger, bbq bacon cheddar burger, truffle mushroom Swiss, but I like to make my own by ordering everything individually. The burgers tastes fresh AF especially when compared to the other typical fast food places. I suggest adding truffle mayo just once. No other place has it and it tastes pretty legit as I've visited Italy, which also uses various truffle products. The smash fries/tots are delicious and unique in its flavor. The shakes are very good. They use Häagen-Dazs ice cream to make it so it stands apart from other chain milk shake places. Häagen-Dazs is richer in flavor itself so the same goes for their milkshakes. Lastly, I have never had bad interaction with the staff here. There's almost always someone at the front who will address you within a minute or 2. They're very polite and amicable and review your order multiple times to make sure they get your order right and don't F up. Do them a favor and do the survey receipt with all 5s. Legit nicest crew there. So next time your girl or your man asks you if you wanna smash, take them here. Its OK if you single like me cause if you get thirsty, come here for their bomb az shakes. Below satisfactory The website mentions to take an uber there, but I wonder who will pay for the double trip I had to make due to the store's error I placed an order online with plenty of time for myself and 7 co-workers by 11am and asked for a pickup for 12. When i got there at 11:50 just incase, and none of my order was done. Instead, I was told my order was placed double. Id expect double the food but instead none of the food was ready As I was leaving, the waitress said she needed to keep my receipt. At that time I even noticed 1 of my shakes were missing, which needed to be made I drove back to franklin square to then realize I was missing 1 burger, 2 fries and 1 haystack onion I called and spoke to Bryan, the angry manager who told me to drive back When I got there the waitress seemed annoyed and the remainder of my meal had to be processed. Came here about two weeks ago and ordered 2 double burgers to go. Upon returning home, both burgers were haphazardly assembled and when we opened them to reassemble them, there were large flakes of burnt detritus that looked like grill scrapings. The large grill scrapings were mixed in the cheese and couldn't be removed. We threw out both burgers (sorry, no photos) and went to the nearby Shake Shack. 100% satisfied with the Shack doubles. This Friday we decided to give this Smashburger another try as everyone has a bad day. It wasn't busy on this Friday evening and the large industrial-themed space had about 2 occupied table. We ordered the same 2 double burgers and hoped for the some yummy burgers. Nope, same burnt grill scrapings, but less than the last time. Really wanted another option to shake shack, but this smash isn't it. We'll try 7th Street in Mineola, it's further out, but worth a try. This Smash location just doesn't want to make the necessary effort of properly cleaning their grills between each order. Service is ok as the orders are there when we arrive, but burnt grill scrapings aren't acceptable and they're probably carcinogenic as well.
