I absolutely loved my session at Sugared Beauty Bar, I genuinely cannot wait to go back and get more services which I never thought I'd say about hair removal but it was the most relaxing experience I've ever had. I have stubborn hair that often results in a lot of ingrown hairs when growing back, not only was my technician super considerate of this issue but she made sure to apply and remove the sugar in a way that was best for my hair growth and skin health. I can already see a major difference after my first session. First off, I am much lighter in my bikini area which is so crazy to me because I've only done one session so I'm so excited to see how much better the color gets as I keep going. In addition to this I've already noticed my hair is growing back significantly finer and if you have curly/coarse hair you know exactly how much of a blessing that is (especially if you might've shaved). As for pain, I am the biggest baby you will meet when it comes to pain tolerance and girl.... I didn't feel a thing. We were discussing various current events whether it was boys, the upcoming new year, or how beautiful the studio was and I didn't even notice she was cleaning me up down there. The studio is impeccably clean and the owner and staff were so sweet I wanted to stay there all day and just hangout. I got a brazilian with the complimentary underarm for my first sugaring session and I loved it! I already booked my next appointment before leaving. There’s so many amazing things about Sugared Beauty Bar- the vibe is absolutely amazing, so comfy and cute as soon as you walk in! The staff is so energetic, friendly, and welcoming and they go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. I’ve gotten waxed before and it feels very clinical in many waxing places, but it’s the exact opposite at Sugared. It’s also cheaper than waxing, in my experience. I had my services done by Serenity and she was so down-to-earth and friendly, we talked all throughout my session and she made me feel super comfortable. It was my first brazilian so I was super nervous, but she walked me through the whole thing and I was able to take breaks if I needed to. She even showed me breathing techniques to make it less painful! While any sort of hair removal is painful, it’s manageable, and I’d say that you’ll be the most comfortable at Sugared out of any hair removal place.
