First things first - you have to walk down the path adjacent to the art gallery towards the lake to find the restaurant. After using GPS to direct us to the restaurant, we were walking up and down the street looking for the restaurant until the kind gentleman at the shoe repair store told us where to go.
The restaurant is very clean - you get an upscale feel to it right when you walk in. I'm not sure if it was because we went when the sun was still out, but the restaurant was also well lit, which is a rarity for high end restaurants. If you can get a table in the corner where the lake is, you can also get a great view with your dinner. Also, outdoor dining is an option, but it was too humid for us to even consider.
The food here was good, but I don't know if I'd categorize it as great. Maybe it's just my taste, but everything I ordered was drenched in olive oil. The bread basket came out - and the server filled a plate with olive oil for you to dip it in (which is pretty typical... some fresh ground pepper would have been a nice touch though). For the appetizer, we had the Tartare di Tonno (tuna tartar) - sitting in olive oil. I had the Tagliata di Manzo (steak) and a side of Patate Arrosto (roasted potatoes). Both were sitting in... you guessed it, olive oil. After a while, I just couldn't stomach all the oil anymore. Had to force myself to finish the steak and couldn't bring myself to work on the potatoes. Steak was cooked to perfection though. Maybe it was just what I ordered because my wife got the Linguine alle Vongole - I don't remember that sitting in oil. She did notice that the clams were a little gritty - probably not properly cleaned. Despite these complaints, the food was actually pretty good. Portions were a bit on the smaller side despite the price. For dessert, my wife had the tiramisu and she said it was one of the best ones she has ever had.
Where this restaurant really shines is the service. The server and manager were extremely attentive, constantly asking if everything was okay. Our water cups were never empty (which is a rarity because my wife drinks a LOT of water). They were extremely friendly and professional. 5 stars based on service alone.

Read moreI had the opportunity to dine at this establishment last Tuesday. The "Valet" sign was out but after several minutes we had to go inside to inquire only to be told "no valet" it's only on weekends and then instructed to park in the "bank" When I questioned the legalities of no parking zone I was informed not to worry! Upon entering we asked for an outside table close to the pond. We were told those tables were saved for larger groups. It was 6pm and empty! When asked for a larger table in another location, again told the same. However there were 2 other tables of 2 sitting at a table for 4, hmm maybe favoritism When we ordered drinks the server asked for our order. We had not yet viewed the menu but asked for the margarita pizza, the server said that may be possible even though not on the menu they can do it. When the Waiter came over he informed us yes they could but unfortunately ran out of dough! We then place an appetizer order, at that time were told the Chef is requesting the full order and if not it would take longer to get our main entree ( sounds a little threatening !!) I then said we did not mind waiting We ordered the eggplant parmesan appetizers while waiting we had to ask for bread twice, when finally produced it was cold and an allowance of a teaspoon of olive oil poured into our bread dish, enough to soak up 1/2 of the bread slice and not offered anymore. When the appetizer arrived we were offered ground pepper, we declined and asked for some cheese, never arrived. The eggplant was mediocre and not up to par with what I have had in other Italian restaurants. We also poured our own wine to refill glasses, now at 6:30 PM the place was not crowded just confusion with servers all over the outside patio. By this time I had had enough, we asked for the check, paid and proceed to another restaurant that always has a 5 star rating. On that note Felice will only be an after thought and...

My wife and I just moved into the area and many friends and locals recommended we try this place out. It had been one of the top restaurants on our list for a while. We finally ordered some food, for pick up (we have 3 kids under the age of 6) and decided to give it a try.
First impression, prices are ridiculously high. We ordered the Tagliata di Manzo ($54), Conchiglie Al Salmon ($30) Rigitatoni Carbonera ($29) and a few orders of grilled chicken and sides for the kids. Our grand total after taxes came to $175! - Absolute madness, however I’m all for paying for great food so I was willing to fork it up.
After picking up the food and bringing it home, the portion size was disappointing. I’m from the Midwest, if I’m gonna fork over $175 to feed my family I better have left overs. Well, we didn’t, in fact there was barely enough to fill one person. Just disappointing.
4/5 The taste of the food was good, but it wasn’t great. It just wasn’t anything special, the steak was cooked well and tasted good, the pasta overall was good but it just didn’t have that “omg this is amazing taste” or the dang we have to come back taste.
The service was sub par which is why I gave them the 2.5 stars. My main complaint here is that when we got home we found out they forgot to pack the carbonara, so we called them and then I had to drive back to pick it up. Usually at these high end restaurants they’re super apologetic and will add a desert or do something to try and make up for their mistake. Not here, they just gave me the food and I was in my way.
Overall, it just wasn’t worth the money we paid for and the value wasn’t there. I will say just standing and seeing the atmosphere it looked pretty incredible.
Advise to management - offer free deserts/apps when you or your people make mistakes and drop your damn prices or fill up the...
