I came here for my SNS with tips appointment. When I arrived, I was given a book of SNS colors and I couldn't find the color I wanted. I showed the woman at the front a picture of what I wanted A royal blue. She suggested a darker navy blue and I went with it but I was surprised they didn't have a basic royal blue. Then a man started to file and clean my nails. He also applied the tips, cut and filed them. He was rushing the whole time. Then I was handed off to another woman to finish my nails. She filed the nails better. She applied the SNS pretty well but the finish wasn't as smooth and thin as I would've liked. They charged $7 for each finger that I wanted a design on. The design was a basic tartan line design. But it was not really executed well. I showed her a picture of what I wanted. In the picture there was a shiny reflection on the nails and she drew the reflection as a line on my nails. I told her that that was a reflection and not part of the design. But the line was dried and she didn't remove/fix it. The line wasn't straight and it didn't look nice. The white lines that overlapped each other looked very bumpy. The price was overpriced for the quality I got. I paid $70 and with that price, my nails should have looked exceptional. I see a lot of reviewers requesting the owner and she's probably amazing. I might try to get an appointment with her but for the price, everyone's work should be up...
Read moreSo I have been an avid fan of this nail salon for the past three years when I first discovered this salon. The owner, Johanna was the best nail tech I have ever seen, she was so meticulous, took her time, and my nails were always perfect. I've referred so many people to her and to this nail salon. They've increased their prices many times throughout these years, but the quality was still amazing that it was still worth it. But lately, it's been so so hard to get an appointment due to their popularity. Still, I am okay with waiting a week to get my nails done. But my last straw is when Johanna said she doesn't take appointments anymore. I am very picky about my nails and I've only been going back to this salon because of Johanna. I've had other nail techs do my nails and it's still not up to par as Johanna, which I have mentioned to her many times. But now she refuses to take appointments. How ridiculous is that? There are loyal customers who come just for her and now they are just abandoned. As a business owner, you really should keep your loyal customers happy and at least meet them half way. Read moreCame to this place as the reviews seemed decent and I was getting on a flight the following day so needed to get my nails done. I had the good fortune (not really) of getting the receptionist to do my gel manicure. She was starting to remove my gel and file my nails but was also taking the phone calls, so she would file here and there and then get up to record appointments. After a few of those I finally said something and I was transferred over to another technician (a male) who seemed to know what he was doing. All in all, the job was done. Some sloppy parts to the finish so I had to point those out and the technician seemed bothered to have to make further amendments, at one point, blaming the shape of my nail for the patchy color job that he had done. Nevertheless, my nails were done. Not perfect but it was complete and that’s all that mattered. Would I go back again? Probably if I was desperate and in a rush but definitely not the best place I’ve been to for a gel manicure. Cleanliness is okay- not perfect, but not bad either.
